interviewing my grandma, Marta De Armas, my fathers mother, in the lobby of

with her husband Joe De Armas. Originally from Cuba, my grandmother s
experience with media was consumed with subtitles and non easy access. With her
being 84 years of age, the ease of which her memories came was not quite there, yet

symbols, figures of speech and images used in Beah s memoir. Interchangeably,
there are relationships between all three of these terms in the book. In a Long Way
Gone Symbolism, Images and figures of speech convey a very moody message to
the reader, based upon what they are reading. These literary building blocks helped

Forethought or the counter ability to think as far down the road as we need is not

battle force led to the variable that would ultimately lead to the almost defeat of
Combat Out Post (COP) Kahler, ex fil, and the awarding of a Medal of Honor. The
events that lead to the establishment of COP Wanat have been studied and picked

The approval of final plans to move from COP Bella and build COP Kahler
happened. Rock Move is the name of the operation. Rock Move consisted of the
closing of COP Bella and the construction of COP Kahler. COP Kahler was the un
official name given to the new COP in the village of Wanat in the Waygal valley.
When the moved happened, multiple elements of TF Rock are used. Multiple
companies played specific roles in the closing and opening events. CH 47 Chinook
Helicopters were the prime moves from personal from COP Bella to Camp
Blessing. At the same time the Chinooks made multiple turns from COP Bella to

Milton Friedman s The Free Market Theory
Milton Friedman bases his opinion on businesses and profit maximization on the
foundation of free enterprise. The free market theory believes that business
managers have only one primary responsibility, which is to maximize profit; also,
the theory tells that government should not involve in economic matters, except
to prevent fraud and coercion (p. 7) Mr. Friedman argues that a corporation, unlike
a person, cannot have responsibility. I disagree with this notion. I don t think that
anyone would engage in a business contract with a corporation if they thought that
a corporation was not responsible to pay its bills. So therefore, a corporation can
have legal, and moral responsibilities. Milton Friedman uses what, to me, is the key
phrase as long as it stays within the rules of the game but does not define the
phrase in terms of the legal system. My question is what about the rules of the
game that are not so much as even suggested in the law? There are other rules that
companies have to follow if they want to be successful; such as the obvious supply
and demand rules in the marketplace. Also, as we have seen with the production of
new ideas and technologies, the law follows progressions in technology and thinking.
But the principle of responsibility leads the legal cases being decided. Being
compliant with the law may keep them out of court, but companies know that holding
themselves accountable to a higher standard will keep them in a good place with their
customers,
