that the use of gasoline is affecting air quality by producing emissions. This is because the process
of refining the crude oil releases toxins into the atmosphere and thus causing air pollution. Burning

I was left wondering why the organization calls itself the Nation of Islam when many traditional
Muslims do not accept the group as being apart of their religion. I believed that if I went directly
to the NOI website, then I would find out more information on this topic. On the website, I found

Every person in America has a myth or conviction of truth as to how creation was formed and
human beings came into existence. The following are inclusive in creation myths, the first is the
Zulu myth found in the continent of Africa, and the other is the myth of Norse originating from
Europe. Both myths give a reason as to how creation was formed on earth. Though there are endless
amounts of ideas and vast amounts of myths to explore, the focus of these two particular myths
brings fascination to a social phenomenon.

2011): Darkness was in the beginning accompanied by a large seed. The seed fell from heaven
and the seed produced reeds that grew called Uthlanga. One seed in particular grew into a man

Unkulunkulu created animals, mountains, lakes, and the sun and moon. He taught female and

What do you think was easier to learn, to ride a bike or to drive a car? I feel both are pretty easy
to drive once you overcome the fears you have and fix the things that you struggle with. There s
a lot that goes into both a bike and a car, but some things more than others. A bike and a car are
both great ways to get around, but balance, road sense, safety and responsibility differ between
the two. To start off, a bike requires more balance. Bikes have two wheels so it s much harder to
stay up. When you first learn to ride a bike without training wheels, you have to learn how to stay
up on it first. Once you start to gain balance and are able to stay up, then you able to ride your
bike. Another thing is that it s easier to get hurt. A bike doesn t have outside protection so if you
fall or have an encounter with a car, you would get majorly hurt. Unlike a bike, a car had four
tires rather than two. So it s easier for a car to stay up since there s tires evenly supporting it. It s
one less thing to worry about when riding a bike than it is to drive a car because there s not the

time would be able to squeeze through, not enough to create an actual threat. Rick is creating a
plan to excavate the walkers when one truck falls off the ledge, leaving an open path for the

PetroquГmica Bahia Blanca S.A. (PBB) because it was being privatized by the government of
Argentina. PBB, which is located in Bahia Blance, is a major producer of both ethylene and
polyethylene in Argentina. Dow sees this as a very big opportunity for the company to expand its
market, utilize its resources and invest on a company that will eventually become the leading
polyethylene player in Latin America. Dow s vice president of business development for Latin
America, Oscar Vignart, and Luis Marcer, CFO of Dow QuГmica Argentinaare building the
company s cash flowprojections for this particular project. In so doing, they have to assess the
country s risk; current political and economic conditions of Argentina, exchange rate stabilities,
freedom of capital repatriation and the uncertainties of the project so they can justify it to the
parent company. They had developed a three stage operational strategy for their future
polyethylene expansion in Argentina. The first stage is the acquisition of the PBB; the second
stage is the acquisition of Polisur s two polyethylene plants and the last stage is building a new
ethylene cracker and a polyethylene plant. In order to help them decide, the cash flows from each
stage of this big project have been valued using the discounted cash flowapproach. They used a
discount rate that was adjusted to incorporate the country

The Chicano Movement, A Civil Rights Movement
The Chicano movement, also known as El Movimiento, was a civil rights movement that began in
the 1960s with a primary objective of attaining empowerment and self determination as well as
rejecting and confronting the history of racism, discrimination and disenfranchisement of the
Mexican American community and was much more militant than movements prior to it. Some
issues the Chicano movement dealt with were farm workers rights, political rights, better education
and restoration of land grants. Additionally, the movement sought to gain social equality and
economic opportunity. The movement strove to tackle the stereotype the media and America
synonymized with Mexicans. The Chicano movement was influenced by progress made in
movements such as the Black Power Movement, antiwar movement and various others. Those who
grew up before the start of the Chicano movement believed that assimilating into the American
lifestyle and adopting their values, ideals and believing in their education and politics would help
them become more white. The Mexican Americancommunity faced segregation in all parts of life.
Chicano was used as a derogatory term towards Mexican Americans before the Chicano movement
in the 1960s. Organizations formed in the early 1900s, such as the League of United Latin
American Citizens (LULAC), sought to end discrimination and segregation against Latinos. The
Chicano Movement did not start at one exact moment because of one action, but rather it grew over
time
