This document provides a commissioning procedure for an RBS 6201 2G system. It involves requirements for OMT and software versions, EC bus termination, pin configurations, defining sectors and parameters in the configuration wizard, shelf and slot positions, hub position, feeder loss, delay, PCM, ties, power configuration, and installing the IDB while changing the DUG maintenance state. The procedure guides configuring the 2G part of the 6201 and defines shelves, slots, and positions for DUG, RUG, and PDU units.

2. Requirements
Note:
• We will require OMT R41H for
configuration of 2G part of 6201.
• BTS sw will be GSM-
BTS_SW_G11A_R29E_(OMT_FORMAT)
• BSC sw will be GSM-
BTS_SW_G11A_R29E_(BSC-FORMAT)

4. PIN Configuration
• Console Cable
• AT RJ 45 end--- 123
• AT 9 PIN connector--- 532

5. Go to create IDB then select the cabinet type as 6201 RUG, power system as -48 V
Dc & cabinet system as Extended because in combo there are 4 no of Fans.

6. Define the sector as below, same as 2964

7. Select the configuration

8. Select all parameter then Tick mark on RBS configuration wizard click ok

10. Now in configuration wizard define RU position. In this window we can define
DUG,RUG,PDU shelf & slot position. In the beginning it will b shows as undefined

11. For 2G all RUs (DUG & RUG) shelves are define as C1/E1and corresponding slots
are define as above i.e.(1,3,5,7,9,11,13) For the PDU s shelves are define as F1,D1,B1
& respective slots will be 1.

12. Define HUB Position as B1 then click OK

13. Define Feeder Loss in dB for all the sectors as per requirement

14. Define Delay for all the sectors as per requirement

15. Define PCM same as 2964, sand alone/cascade as per the site status

16. Define Tie (Mandatory)

17. This is same as 2964 External alarm definition window. Define it and then click ok

18. Click on YES

19. Define power as default , as below . Then click ok and install IDB.

20. After click on install IDB if wrong RBS operational sate is shown then u should
change RBS state in local mode softly (go to cabinet –right click on DUG-change
maintenance state) then u observe a blue LED IS FLASING in DUG i.e. it is in local
mode.

21. As describe in previous slide . Then click on the install IDB icon
and go for the process . After complete IDB installation
change DUG maintenance state in REMOTE & physically the
BLUE LED is OFF. Then go to Define Present RUS make PDU2
as not present .
