The document discusses the relationship between health and the environment. It defines environment and explains why a suitable environment is necessary for human survival. The objectives are to understand how the physical, biological and psychological environment impact health. It describes the epidemiological triad of agent, environment and host. Health is defined as complete physical, mental and social well-being. Determinants of health include heredity, socioeconomic conditions, lifestyle and environment. Different types of diseases and environmental problems are also outlined.
This paper deals with environmental health and sanitation. It outlines the concept of sanitation and environmental health. This paper makes a special note on concept and principles of environmental health in community health promotion and environmental intervention models. This paper examines the human interaction with the environment and its associated factors. This paper concludes with some interesting findings. Lukkumanul Hakkim. This slide is on Environment protection & household sanitation. This includes environmental degradation,it's causes & preventions. Also includes hygiene, water quality maintainance and finally food waste & byproducts.
Organic producers and food farmers develop and produce food outwardly utilizing artificial chemicals such as pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. They do not use genetically modified (GM) elements or expose food to irradiation.
Animal welfare and environmental sustainability are major concerns for organic producers. The phrase ‘organic’ can also cover animal goods. For instance, eggs certified as organic are free-range, rather than from caged (battery) hens.
Kinds of organic products available in Australia include eggs, meat and meat products, grains, dried legumes, honey, fruit and vegetables, dairy foods, and some prepared foods.
Environmental studies is a multidisciplinary research discipline that studies human interaction with the environment systematically. It is a wide field of study involving the natural world, the constructed environment, and their relationship with each other.

Environmental Hygiene:
Unit I: Introduction:
Components of environment
Importance of healthy environment
Environment:
The surroundings or conditions in which a person, animal, or plant lives or operates.
Components of environment:
Everything in our immediate surrounds, including both living and nonliving things like soil, water, creatures, and plants that adapt to their conditions, is referred to as the “environment.”
It is a gift from nature that helps to sustain life on Earth.
The survival of life on Earth depends on the environment.
A biosphere component that affects the condition of the entire planet is an ecosystem.
It includes both live and non living objects in the environment.
The elements that make up the environment can be broadly separated into two groups:
Biotic Components: The biotic or biological component of environment consists of all living organisms. Animals, plants, and microorganisms interact with abiotic elements to build ecosystems.
Abiotic Components: the Non living things like Water, Light, Temperature, Humidity and Soil.
Importance of healthy environment:
As our activities affect the environment in a way, they also affect our life, health, families and communities.
Human civilization has always formed a close bond with their environment. Sitting in fresh air and greenery can increase mental peace, reduce blood pressure, increase attention span.
Healthy environments are essential with human safety and emotional well-being.
Healthy environment reduces the risk of diseases
Enhances quality and length of life
Healthy environment helps to protect the creatures and plants around us.
It Limits global warming
It prevent all types of pollutions
Control vectors and flies
Food hygiene and safety
Proper waste disposal
Introduction to environment and environmental studiesSURYAKANTVERMA2
“Environmental studies” is the scientific study of our environment and our place in it.
Definition: “Environmental studies” is the study of environmental issues.
It has broader coverage than environmental science and includes social aspects of environment also.
Climate Change is major thing of Environment, which we should know about it. It's effect is dangerous that many people don't think about it. I upload this PDF for encourage the students and their knowledge.

Characterization and the Kinetics of drying at the drying oven and with micro...Open Access Research Paper
The objective of this work is to contribute to valorization de Nephelium lappaceum by the characterization of kinetics of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum. The seeds were dehydrated until a constant mass respectively in a drying oven and a microwawe oven. The temperatures and the powers of drying are respectively: 50, 60 and 70°C and 140, 280 and 420 W. The results show that the curves of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum do not present a phase of constant kinetics. The coefficients of diffusion vary between 2.09.10-8 to 2.98. 10-8m-2/s in the interval of 50°C at 70°C and between 4.83×10-07 at 9.04×10-07 m-8/s for the powers going of 140 W with 420 W the relation between Arrhenius and a value of energy of activation of 16.49 kJ. mol-1 expressed the effect of the temperature on effective diffusivity.
WRI’s brand new “Food Service Playbook for Promoting Sustainable Food Choices” gives food service operators the very latest strategies for creating dining environments that empower consumers to choose sustainable, plant-rich dishes. This research builds off our first guide for food service, now with industry experience and insights from nearly 350 academic trials.

2. • The term environment is comes from the
French word “environ” and its mean
everything is surrounds us
• It can be living or non- living things . It
includes physical , chemical and other
natural forces .
The totality of the surrounding
condition for comfortable living of
organisms.
Environment is the area of which we
live .
3. WHY WE NEED ENVIRONMENT ?
• Environment has played very important role to make able to survive to all
biotic and abiotic component in the earth . While taking about advantage
of the of the environment . It has much more benefits . Let take the
example of benefit of it ,we human being are social animal on earth .
• Good environment is the good for living things same as polluted
environment is the very harmful to the human beings.
• We human being we need food to live ,air to breath , water to drink etc.
Which are getting from environment if there ware no suitable environment
On the then it will be unable for the human to survive on earth .
4. OBJECTIVES
• Health is the physical , mental ,social and spiritual context .
• Environment to be an important factor in the interaction of agent and host in
the epidemiological or ecological triad
• The physical , biological and psychological environment and understand their
impact on health
VETOR
ENVIRONMENT
HOSTAGENT
EPIDEMIOLOGICAL TRAID
5. HEALTH
• It is a state of complete physical ,menta and social well being and not merely the
absence of disease
• It is a condition under which the individual is able to mobilize is all resources ,
intellect , emotional and physical for optimum living .
HOLISTIC CONCEPT OF HEALTH
• This concept recognised the strength of social , economic , environmental influences
on health
6. DETERMINATES OF HEALTH
• HEREDITY
• WELFARE SERVICES
• ENVIRONMENT
• SOCIO-ECONOMIC CONDITIONS
• HEALTH AND FAMILY
• LIFESTYLE
7. CONCEPT OF DISEASE
• Disease is a result from complex interaction between man , an agent and
the environment .
• From ecological point of view Disease is defined as , “maladjustment of
the human organism of the environment “
8. DIFFERENT TYPES OF DISEASES
A.WATER BORN DISAESE:
Disease are the transmitted in drinking water .
These disease organism are shed into the water in faces ,and
can produces illness in those who consume untreated contaminated water
Our municipal water treatment facilities are usually able to purify water
By removing these agents or killing them by disinfecting the water
9. WHAT IS THE COMPONENTS OF ENVIRONMNET

13. 3.Biophysical components
NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
• The components of natural
Environment are Air , Water, Soil
, Land, Radiations, Forests,
wildlife , flora and fauna .
MANMADE ENVIRONMENT
• It include transportation,
housing,Agricultral and livestock
farms , Aquatic farm,indrusty ,
dams energy such as hydro
thermal and nuclear energy
plants.
22. • WHAT ARE THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS
A wide range of sources that have influenced the Environment in a negative
way .
The Environmental is a essential aspect in our lives as it determines
everything that we do .
As human we don’t realize just how much we depend on the physical
environmental that we live in for our survival.
23. THREE SERIOUS ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUE THAT NEED TO BE RESOLVED
FRESH WATER CRISES
GLOBAL WARMING
EXTINCTION OF SPECIES
