3. The Entrepreneur
 Peter F. Drucker defines an entrepreneur as
one, who always searches for change, responds to
it and exploits as an opportunity.
 Innovation is the specific tool
of entrepreneurs, the means by which they
exploit change as an opportunity for a different
business or service Entrepreneurship is neither a
science nor an art. It is a practice. It has a
knowledge base. Knowledge in entrepreneurship
is a means to an end.

4. An entrepreneur is one of the
important segments of economic
growth.
An entrepreneur - a person
responsible for setting up a
business or an enterprise. In
fact, he is one who has the
initiative, skill for innovation and
looks for high achievements.

5.  Entrepreneur -A person who
organizes, operates, and assumes the
risk for a business venture.
 willing to take risks in order to make a
profit enterprising - marked by
imagination, initiative, and readiness
to undertake new projects; "an
enterprising foreign policy"; "an
enterprising young woman likely to go

process of entrepreneurship or
business development is
incremental or evolutionary . It
evolves from sole proprietorship
to a public company.

Entrepreneurship involves not only the
process that leads to the setting up of a
business entity but also the expansion and
development of an on going concern. The
study of entrepreneurship is concerned with
the entrepreneurial behavior, the dynamics
of business set up and expansion and
development.

Entrepreneurship refers to all those activities
which are to be carried out by an entrepreneur
to establish and run the business enterprises in
accordance with the changing socio, political
and economic environments.

anticipation of the consumers likes and

fashions and the introduction of business
ventures to meet out all these expectations of
the consumers.

our future in many ways:
a)Innovative creation of opportunity
Example: Portable phones linked to faxes and laptop will
turns cars, train, and airport terminal into offices.
b)Entrepreneurship not only affect our lives through
innovation but represent the working future for many of us
due to lays off by large organization and shrinking of job
opportunities for graduates.
c) Entrepreneurship is synonymous to creation of new
venture and small businesses. SMIs have been important
contributors to local economic growth.
