four stages. The four stages in Piaget s Theory of Cognitive Development are the sensorimotor

The formal operational stage occurs from eleven to fifteen years of age. Adolescents reason more
logically and can understand and imagine abstract circumstances/ideas. These children will begin
to create ideal circumstances in their minds. This is very common, especially in girls who will
