What is Router?
●   A basic function of a
    router has an added
    function as well as
    that by the equipment
    which makes sure that
    an IP packet during
    each network can be
    exchanged.
What is switching matrix

・Switching
matrix enable
us to connect
any input to any
output,
individually or in
combination.
What is Central Office Switch
●   It is a voice switch that
    resides in the Central
    Office Switch central
    office (CO) of an
    ILEC, CLEC, or IXC. It
    can also reside in the
    hub (STC) or
    headend, (MTC) of an
    MSO.
Network Address Translation(NAT)
●   NAT is technology
    that translate IP
    address into global IP
    address.

●   Because IP address
    might dry up
    sometime in the
    future,it make some
    computers share IP
    address.

  • 2. What is Router? ● A basic function of a router has an added function as well as that by the equipment which makes sure that an IP packet during each network can be exchanged.
  • 3. What is switching matrix ・Switching matrix enable us to connect any input to any output, individually or in combination.
  • 4. What is Central Office Switch ● It is a voice switch that resides in the Central Office Switch central office (CO) of an ILEC, CLEC, or IXC. It can also reside in the hub (STC) or headend, (MTC) of an MSO.
  • 5. Network Address Translation(NAT) ● NAT is technology that translate IP address into global IP address. ● Because IP address might dry up sometime in the future,it make some computers share IP address.
