Magnetism is a property of a material that enables to attract or repel other materials. The presence and strength of the material’s magnetic properties can be observed by the effect of the forces of attraction and repulsion on other materials.
What makes magnets?
Magnets are actually created by tiny spinning electrons in an atom. The electrons move about the nucleus and spin like a top, creating a tiny magnetic field.
If electrons are spinning in the same direction there is more magnetism, while electrons spinning in opposite directions cancel out each others’ magnetic fields. Magnetic fields are invisible, we can only see the effects of the magnetic force.

INDUCED MAGNETISM
The process by which the screws become magnets is called Electric/Magnetic Induction. This same process is the reason why magnets attract non-magnetized magnetic substances such as the screw. The screw becomes an induced magnet with the end nearer the magnet having an opposite polarity to that of the permanent magnet. Hence attraction happens after magnetic induction occurs. The quicker way to know the polarity of a permanent or induced magnet is by the use of a magnetic compass. Compass needle is a small magnet that is free to pivot in a horizontal plane about an axis and that the end of the magnet that points to geographic north is called the north (N) pole. In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.

- 5. STATIC ELECTRICITY Static electricity occurs when you rub objects together. Objects can be: ·Neutral: This is when an object has a different number of positive and negative charges ·Electrically charged: This is when an object has a different number of positive charges and negative charges
- 6. OBJECT BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ELECTRICITY Depending on their electrical charges, different things occur when two objects with electrical charge are near each other: ·Objects with different electrical charges attract each other. Like when you comb your hair. ·Objects with the same electrical charges repel each other. Like when you rub two inflated ballons with a piece of wool.
- 7. CONDUCTING AND INSULATING MATERIALS ·Conducting materials: Electrical charges can move through them easily. ·Insulating materials: Electrical charges cannot move through them.
- 8. ELECTRIC CIRCUITS Electric current is the movement of electrical charges through a conducting material.The main parts of an electric circuit are: ·Current generator. ·Conducting elements or wires. ·Devices or receivers: ·Switch. ·Electricity meter. ·Protection devices or circuit breakers.
- 9. USES OF ELECTRIC CURRENT Electric current has many uses: ·Light, images and sound. ·Heat. ·Movement. ·Communication.
- 10. MAGNETS Magnets can attract certain metals. They can be: ·Natural: like magnetite ·Artificial. All materials have two parts , their north poles (N) and their south poles (S). CHARACTERISTICS OF MAGNETS ·You can never separate the poles of a magnet ·When we put two magnets together, two things can happen: -They repel. -They attract.
- 11. THE MAGNETIC POLES OF THE EARTH Our planet has a north magnetic pole and a south magnetic pole. We use a compass to show us where the Earth’s north magnetic pole is. USES OF MAGNETISM Magnetism has different uses: ·Orientation. ·Magnets. ·Information storage. ·Theft control. ·Identification.
