To find out the efficiency and effectiveness of E-Governance at local
level/Zila Parishad
‘Governance’ is the undertaking of activities,
management of resources, organization of men and
women by groups of people, communities, local
government bodies, business organization and
branches of the State (Legislature, Judiciary and
Executive) through social, political, administrative and
economic arrangements that meet the daily needs of
the people and ensure sustainable development. (Hye,
2000)

regarding any trade related matters, lease of Jalmahals,
consideration of the matter of Birth Certification and Election
process etc.

How the Service can be Strengthen
Proper advertisement need to be done.
The instructions regarding how to get services should be made
clear.
Reform should be introduced in the time consuming process of
submission and approval of applications.
Employees should be friendly with the applicants.
The types of services should be listed and declared transparently.
Employees should provide the service spontaneously.
Chances should be provided to the people so that they can get
services at a same time.
The Result of Proper Service on the Development
E-Governance will greatly simplify the process of
information accumulation.
It will empower people to get involved in the process of
decision making.
It has the opportunity to strengthen the fabric of
democracy.
It will help to ensure that information regarding every work
of public welfare is easily available .
It will ensure much more transparency in order to reduce
corruption.
The Result of Proper Service on the Development (Cont.)
It has the potentiality to make every government department
responsible.
It will offer better management, greater convenience, revenue
growth, cost reductions etc.
It will help business access information that might be
important for them at a click.
E-Governance practices can make it possible for people to get
their work done online .
Own view
People are not familiar with the electronic services.
Remote areas are not reach high technologically developed.
Lack of electricity supply, load seeding is very much high.
Corruption in administrative body.
Lack of people’s participation .
Budget is insufficient at e-service level.

  • 7. ‘Governance’ is the undertaking of activities, management of resources, organization of men and women by groups of people, communities, local government bodies, business organization and branches of the State (Legislature, Judiciary and Executive) through social, political, administrative and economic arrangements that meet the daily needs of the people and ensure sustainable development. Direct complaining of any matters in a more proper and digital way to the Deputy Commissioner. Getting the chance to conduct cases against the government. Getting services concerning on the matters of license approval regarding any trade related matters, lease of Jalmahals, consideration of the matter of Birth Certification and Election process etc.

  • 17. Absence of spontaneous service providing by the employees. Absence of providing services to more than 1 person at the same time. Misbehavior of the employees with the poor and illiterate people. Unwillingness of the employees to support the applicants in the matters of complain and application. Negative opinion (Cont.)
  • 18. How the Service can be Strengthen Proper advertisement need to be done. The instructions regarding how to get services should be made clear. Reform should be introduced in the time consuming process of submission and approval of applications. Employees should be friendly with the applicants. The types of services should be listed and declared transparently. Employees should provide the service spontaneously. Chances should be provided to the people so that they can get services at a same time.
  • 19. The Result of Proper Service on the Development E-Governance will greatly simplify the process of information accumulation. It will empower people to get involved in the process of decision making. It has the opportunity to strengthen the fabric of democracy. It will help to ensure that information regarding every work of public welfare is easily available . It will ensure much more transparency in order to reduce corruption.
  • 20. The Result of Proper Service on the Development (Cont.) It has the potentiality to make every government department responsible. It will offer better management, greater convenience, revenue growth, cost reductions etc. It will help business access information that might be important for them at a click. E-Governance practices can make it possible for people to get their work done online .
  • 21. Own view People are not familiar with the electronic services. Remote areas are not reach high technologically developed. Lack of electricity supply, load seeding is very much high. Corruption in administrative body. Lack of people’s participation . Budget is insufficient at e-service level.
