2. In international development, good governance is a subjective term that
describes how public institutions conduct public affairs and manage public
resources in the preferred way.
Governance is "the process of decision-making and the process by which
decisions are implemented (or not implemented)“

3. It is participatory, consensus oriented, accountable, transparent,
responsive, effective and efficient, equitable and inclusive and follows
the rule of law.
It assures that corruption is minimized, the views of minorities are taken into account
and that the voices of the most vulnerable in society are heard in decision-making.
It is also responsive to the present and future needs of society.
The Un definition:
Good governance is ensuring respect for human rights and the rule of law;
strengthening democracy; promoting transparency and capacity in public
administration.

4. People should be able to voice their own opinions through legitimate immediate
organizations or representatives.
Mediates differing interests to meet the broad consensus on the best interests of a
community.
Governmental institutions, private sectors, and civil society organizations should be
held accountable to the public and institutional stakeholders

monitored.
Institutions and processes should serve all stakeholders.
Processes and institutions should be able to produce results that meet the needs of
their community while making the best of their resources.
