The Position reports directly to The Advertising Director and below is a brief overview 
• Compiling weekly reports to keep tabs on progress towards targets and vision 
• Achieving the company’s vision of being the most profitable newspaper in the country by achieving set sales targets 
• Identifying and evaluating key business development opportunities to grow the Sales Portfolio 
• Effecting Quality control on behalf of stakeholders to keep their Brands within their standards 
• Maintaining, expanding and managing profitable business relationships for continued sales 
• Liaising with agencies on behalf of clientele. 
• Engaging clients in long term advertising contracts ensuring continued revenue 
• Meeting weekly advertising deadlines for a profitable paper 
• Helping clients execute effective PR strategies and Brand efforts for visibility and growth 
• Attending functions and promotions to maximize on sales opportunities and sustained working relationships 
• Delegating photographers and journalists to cover such functions and overseeing to it that clientele wishes are met
