S/Building
Money
Teacher
 External Efficiency of Education is to know;
that does the Edu. System produce the
number and type of manpower required for
economic development?
 Does the school reach their goals in terms of
their outputs?
• distance b/w
School and
home
• parental
interfaces to
education,.
• Poverty,
illness,
• Employment
of children
in Agri
Low quality
instruction
due to teacher
qualification
no teaching
aids and
equipments,
text books,
education very
bookish, No
A/V aids, Over
crowded
classes
unattractive
schools due to
curriculum not
related to
daily life,
 Crucial Questions
◦ Is there possible break through from this vicious
circle?
◦ Will this breakthrough be made through external
inputs or mobilizing internal resources?
◦ Both of these have important social, political,
cultural or some times military implications
 Education structure of the labor force
◦ Education as HRD
◦ Education linked with Production and Productivity
 Economists and educationists analyze & plan
◦ Present size of labour force, economic sectors, their
education level, proportion with unemployed.
◦ Project the labour force, the future growth;
 External Resources/ Inputs
◦ Economic
◦ Financial
◦ Transfer of technology related to education
 Internal Resources/ Inputs
