DIFFERENT STRATEGIES IN TEACHING SCIENCE
Technology in the Classroom
 Strengths
 Itcan be used in any stageof education to teach a lesson.
 Engaging your students in a better way of teaching makes
learning more enjoyableand meaningful.
 New teaching approaches are in the works.
 Weaknesses
 Itcan cause students to become distracted.
 Itnecessitates management and training, especially for those
who have no prior experience with technology.
 Itwould resultin a technological divide.
Inquiry-based Instruction
 Strengths
 Students'awareness is enhanced.
 Encourages participation
 Develops abilities in all fields of learning
 Weaknesses
 There aren't enough experiences to draw on.
 There may be a cultural mismatch.
 Individualization that is excessive
Cooperative Learning
 Strengths
 Encourages peer learning
 Students'critical thinking skills are improved.
 Encouragestudents to interact with one another.
 Weaknesses
 If a group lacks groupwork skills, itcan face difficulties.
 Introverts can facesignificant difficulties.
 There will only be one person in chargeof the party.
