There is very limited oxygen when the climbers are that high in the air. In chapter 8 of the book there
is dialogue and it is Are you not feeling good, Jon? he mocked. This is only Camp One, six thousand
meters. The air is still very thick. Jon was already becoming tired and not feeling good. Because the
air is minimal, they must use oxygen tanks. These oxygen tanks can run out of oxygen at any time and

On November 6, there was a sub the for 7th period and most of the students sat in their assigned seats.
The sub explained her expectation and how respect is her one of her rules. She then continues to
explained the instruction for the two worksheet that the teacher left for the class. Within 15 minutes
into class, I noticed that there many groups forming like a group of girls would be grooming/putting
on makeup, others would be talking, and the rest of the class would be doing the worksheet. I then
observed one student and the sub for twenty minute, and the student for the most part was doing the
worksheet and collaborating with his partner. The sub did walk around the class several times to make
sure that students were doing part of the worksheet. She would event ask the student question over it,
but mainly because she wanted to know what they were learning. I was able to help out some students,
but most student were off task. A student had an accordion, he would play it until the sub told him to
put it away. Most of the student finished the first sheet, but not the second worksheet. Towards the end
of class, she let the student with the accordion play it.
Then I observed the first 15 minutes of 8th period. The sub greeted the student at the door and passed
out the first worksheet. She then takes attendance and explained the worksheet and her expectation
before I had to leave.

One of my favorite pieces of art would be the ukiyo e print, Under the Wave off Kanagawa
(Kanagawa oki nami ura), also known as The Great Wave, from the woodblock print series Thirty six
Views of Mount Fuji (Fugaku sanjūrokkei). This print was created by Katsushika Hokusai who at the
time went by the name, Zen Hokusai Iitsu hitsu. The interesting elements of this print are the contrast
between the wave and the peak of the highest mountain in Japan, Mt. Fuji. With a height of 3776
meters, the mountain appears to be a small mound in this print compared to the huge wave that is

Many cities of men he saw and learned their minds, many pains he suffered, heartsick on the open sea,

men must make the difficult journey home, struggling through many obstacles and hardships. These

Tenrikyo is a religion that emphasizes on how the joyous state of mind can greatly influence in what
will be going through in our lives by satisfying god s desires by making a good use of our body. In this
paper, I am going to argue that Tenrikyo is one of the fastest growing religions in the world due to its
rapid expansion that leads to an emerging new religion but does not interfere with other religions at

Identity is what makes a person different from all other individuals. Throughout history it shows that
people tend to conform to society s perception of who they should be when they don t take the time
out to figure out who they are. Therefore, it is important for people to have a sense of who they are. In
The Lesson by Toni Cade Bambara, it shows how the main character struggles to figure out her
identity and how she sees herself.
In The Lesson it talks about a group of children who lives in the slum of New York City in the 1970s.

Addiction is a term used to describe the continued or compulsive use of a substance or engaging in an
activity that provides a pleasurable experience, despite the interference or negative effects it poses on
