The economy of Spain has shifted away from agriculture and manufacturing towards services. Currently over 23 million people make up the active population, with around 25.93% unemployed. While agriculture previously employed around 1 million people, now over 12 million or 58% of the active population work in services, particularly tourism, trade, and transport. Manufacturing still employs over 6 million people across industries like automobiles, chemicals, and telecommunications, but construction has declined dramatically in recent years due to the European economic crisis.

This presentation is about Belgium. When you download it, there are more special effects like a game where you can try to let people guess what the specialties of Belgium are.
This is a sample of my work with global import/export and cultural business for my International Business class. I chose Uruguay. However, I have interest in these topics in every region.

In 2007, the active population of Spain was approximately twenty million people.
About 10% of this population, two million people, were unemployed. The majority of
them were women.
But the culture and economic situation have changed.

are unemployed. There is no relevant difference between men and women in this point.
3. T he primary sector
Only 5% of the active population, about 1 million people, work in the primary sector. It consists
of the following activities:
Agriculture: most of the agricultural land in Spain is used for dry crops, such as grain, grapes
and olives. Fruit and vegetables are grown on the irrigated plains of Murcia and Valencia.
Livestock farming is intensive: cows, sheep, pigs and poultry are the most common livestock.
Fishing has declined, but traditional and industrial fishing still continue in some areas.
