This document contains a summary of an ECG intensive course for medical students presented on July 13, 2021. It discusses various arrhythmias and abnormalities seen on ECGs such as atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation, premature atrial contractions, paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, junctional tachycardia, premature junctional contractions and provides clinical tips for identifying each on an ECG. It also reviews what should be looked for when interpreting an ECG including the rhythm, P waves, cardiac axis, QRS complex, ST segment, T waves and troubleshooting common ECG problems.
