FOOD We need to eat many different types of food to be healthy All food comes from animals or plants.
A BALANCED DIET To have a balanced diet, you should eat food from each food group everyday. Meat, eggs,fish. Milk and other dairy products Fruits and vegetables. Pulses, sugars and cereals LOOK CAREFULLY TO THE PICTURE.

A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING Did you know… Children must eat a little of everything to have enough energy to play or study. Eating the right amount of each food group gives you a balanced diet.
WHY DO WE EAT? Cereals, pulses  and  sugars  give us a lot of energy. Milk  and  other dairy products  give us calcium and so that our bones and teeth grow strong. Fruits  and  vegetables  contain vitamins that keep us healthy. Meat, eggs  and  fish  help us to grow.
