  17. Acquire the data necessary for robotic simulation and offline programming studies through various CAD data interfaces.
  18. Convert the data files into usable components for insertion into the simulation study.
  19. Build the necessary workcell through the use of tools for layout design and process definition.
  20. Select, insert and place usable components into the workcell to perform layout design.
  21. Develop the robotic operations with dedicated manufacturing process tools. Here, you can see the use of specific tools that allow for the proper definition of operations to perform robotic arc welding.
  22. Confirm the workcell layout design and robotic processes through the use of tools for advanced placement and optimization, operation sequencing and simulation.
  23. Define required collision lists and check for collision and interference conditions within the process.
  24. Build, simulate and confirm the full sequence of operations for the defined process.
  25. Document and deliver the confirmed process.
  26. Develop and generate native language robot programs that can be downloaded to the robot controller for execution in production.
  27. Export process studies as html5-enabled documents that allow for sharing and review of the resulting simulation in the cloud, from any device. Select image to open a video showing the file being opened in Google Chrome, an HTML5, WebGL enabled browser, to demonstrate the use of simulations in the cloud. You can also open the file named “ArcWeld_Study_WebView.html” directly to show this working on your machine, using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or other capable browsers.
