specific topic to write about.

topic
Step 3

writing
Step 4
• Write
• Use your notes about the organization of the
ideas to write the text from the beginning to the
end.
Step 5
• Review structure and content
• Check what you wrote. You can read your text to
yourself or to a classmate. Find places where
you can add more information and places where
there is unnecessary information. If a classmate
reads your writing, he will tell you if it is clear
and effective.
Step 6
• Revise structure and content
• Re-write your text making improvements to structure and
content. You can be more clear, are more details, change
the organization, etc. To proofread, read your text again to
find spelling, grammar or vocabulary errors. Make final
corrections and now your text is finished.
