1) The document discusses plans for a double page spread in an indie magazine. 2) It will use contrasting dark colors like white, blue, and reds as well as black and white to give a traditional feel while representing the indie genre. 3) Images will include a youthful female artist posing as if listening to indie music and dressed in a fun but not strictly black outfit, edited to a blue scale to represent the indie/indie rock vibe.

2. House style
 Colours will contrast the genre of my magazine for example
using dark but vibrant colours e.g., white, blue, reds.
However I will manly use black and white for a traditional
article feel. This is key for an indie based magazine as I
found these colours upon other indie genre magazines when
I did my own research.
 Text font; Simple but formal attracting youth of an older age
and young adults. The main text will be within the same front
and style as the masthead on my cover and contents page to
signify its just as important.
 Text language; Simple however the right amount of text is key
as Indie magazines are clustered in text however, I will make
mine easy to read and positioned in an order which doesn’t
come across as messy by placing them in columns like a
traditional article.

3. Images
Female youthful artist as the model , posing that can come
across she’s listening to Indie genre music and dancing. She will
appear in clothing that is youthful and fun giving the connotation
of my target audiences likes other than music which I
researched. I will edit my image into a blue scale to give the
indie/ indie rock vibe. Indie music is rock/house music which
means I can challenge the genre in different ways I will do this
by my model in my image. It will clearly have the rock look,
however the dress my model will wear is fun and not necessarily
black which is what someone who listens to rock may wear but
as this is Indie music it is appropriate. I found this out due to my
independent research and questioning those who listen to this
music in particular.
I will add images of my model, at a awards ceremony such as
the Brit Awards, I will also add images of my model in a
recording studio and perform on a stage which is key when I did
my research for an indie magazine, it must also connotate
music.
