Cell phones of the future will be smaller, more flexible, have better graphics, and allow interaction with images and objects on the screen. Tablets are also expected to replace desktop computers as technologies upgrade. Desktop computers will continue improving over time with innovations like no visible keyboards or cords. Rogers' innovation adoption curve and Moore's extension of it explain how new technologies are gradually adopted in a bell-shaped pattern, with early adopters, a gap, and later mainstream users. This relates to cell phone upgrades following this pattern of gradual adoption. The uses and gratification theory also helps explain why people seek out new technologies to satisfy psychological needs.

2. Cell phones of the future. For example they are flexible and smaller than a the
common cell phone out now. Also the graphics are better and have a lot more
to offer from a cell phone. Cell phones from the future could probably talk to a
image or even the things you are exploring on the cell phone.

3. Tablets should take the place of desktop computers in the future. The reason I say is because of the
upgrading with the different technologies. I’ve been using a desktop since I was in elementary
school and the tablet device has been upgrading almost every two years. As time go by desktops
are becoming something not everyone use.

4. Desktops have been around quite a long time
now. As time go by the computer desktop will
improve and upgrade. This desktop has no visible
keyboard and also no cords that you have to plug
for it to power on

5. Roger Innovation Theory
• Developed by Rogers in 1995
• Explains how and why new technology is adopted
• The adaption rate follows a bell curve with earlier adopters and end
with laggards

6. • This relates to my cell phones because it may seem that society is in
the laggard stage because everyone has one however we are actually
at the top of the bell curve because of the upgrades on cell phones.

• Moore's developing from Rogers innovation theory
• Technology will still be adopted on a bell curve however there will be a gap in the early adopters
• This gap is when no one is buying or adopting the technology

8. • When the computers of the future are released there will be a small
group of early adopters
• Then there will be a gap when they stop selling for a while
• Finally more people would start using and buying the computers

9. Uses and Gratification Theory
• This theory examines how and why they use the technology they do
• The ideal behind this is because it satisfy some psychological need
• This is what happen when something new comes out and everyone is
trying to get it because it's new and improvements on technology
