to create presentations by many people.
These presentations can be about
ANYTHING. Businesses uses them for
training purposes and also during
meetings to show changes in company
growth and fluctuation.

When you’re ready
to insert something
onto your slide you
must navigate to
the Insert tab. To
Insert a table click
the table icon and
select how many
rows and columns
you would like to
add



To add a chart you also
go to the insert tab. You
must then look for the
chart button and press
it. You should pick
whatever chart style
you intend to use, select
it and it will open up
Microsoft Excel and you
can insert your data
figures and then you
can place your chart
where you would like it
on your slide.

WordArt is decorative text you can add to your
slides. To access WordArt you go to the insert tab
and find the WordArt button under the section
titled text. You can then select the style of word
art you’d like to include and click it. If you would
like to change the color you can do that on the
format tab under WordArt Styles. All that’s left to
do is to place the WordArt where you’d like it and
later add some Animations to it.



To add Clip Art you click on the Insert
tab and look for the Clip Art Button in the
images section. You click that and then
a box will appear and you can search
with a key word, example- Cow. You
can also get audio clips here. When you
find the picture or audio you like you
simply click on it and it will appear on
your slide. All that’s left to do is place it
where you want it.

To place a footer on a slide you will go to
the Insert tab and click headers and footers
in the text section. It will open a box and
give you the option to add footers to every
slide, all slides except the title or just the one
slide if you hit apply and not apply to all.
You may also include the date and time.
Headers can only be added to print outs or
note sheets.

Themes


The theme of a slide is the background or
the way the slide looks. To chose a theme
you find the Design tab and scroll through
the themes until you find the one you like or
the one that best suits the presentation you
are giving. You can apply a theme to one
slide or all slides by right clicking on them.
You can change the fonts colors and effects
of the slide by clicking the icons to the right
of the themes.


Transitions are an effect moving us
from one slide to the next. To add a
transition to your slide you go to the
tab titled Transitions. You can click
on each transition until you find the
one you like and then you can
apply it to your slide. You can
change the directions of the
transitions by selecting Effect
options to the right of the transition
box. To advance to the next slide
you can either click your mouse or
after rehearsing your presentation
and timing it you can set up the
timer in the section labled timing
and you may also change how
long the transition lasts by changing
the numbers in the duration area.


To Animate something you first select the object or text
box you would like to animate and then click on the
animation tab. You can select the animation you like by
clicking it and then clicking preview off to the left. You
may also add multiple animations for Appearing, Emphasis
and exit by clicking the Add Animation in the advances
animation section. You can change the duration of the
animation by using the timing section in the top far right.
To add a video to
your presentation
you will need to
make or find the
video you wish to
include. Once you
have you need to
go to the Insert tab
and look to the far
right and click the
video icon located
in the media
section. You then
click where the
video is
located, find and
upload it.
