HABITAT OF ANIMALS IN
DESERT .
 Most of the animals in
desert lives in
burrows as shown
bellow images.
 This help them to
keep them cool in hot
climate.
ADAPTION OF SNAKES
 Snakes have a certain
type of slither across the
sands that enables them
to glide on the hot desert
sand. Almost looking like
they are floating, snakes
will only have two places
of contact against the
sand and will push off the
sands so they can move
forward quickly.
They live in burrows in
mornig and come out in
night .
CACTUS ADAPTION IN DESERT
 Cactus have special
features in it .
Cactus have spines on
place of leaves , so that
while transpiration . The
chlorophyll is usually
present in leaves but in
cactus it is in stem ,and they
have carbon sheet on there
stem so they will not lose
much water in transpiration .
They also have very long
root to reach to the water in
deep ground .
