There are many techniques used in this film. Firstly the directors and their team
use a variety of different camera techniques to shape our view on the characters,
and ultimately change our view in the world. In the opening sequence each
character is introduced using different camera shots. For example Olive s father is
first projected to the audience as a success. There is a sequence of close ups and
mid ranged shots which show Richard confidently speaking in a spotlight at the
front of the room. However the cinematic team then use a cut to a point of view

Individuals can easily access so much information with a flip of a switch and by
turning to social media. The media exists to benefit our world; to study the facts, to
connect and/or to entertain its audience. Our culture in the United States is
encouraged to believe and view headlines as truth and fact; it is for this reason I
believe that news and social media has a manner of manipulating and influencing
their audience s attention. My own view is that media educates people with or
without credible knowledge, especially in the topic of racial inequality. Racism is
defined as prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a
different race based on the belief that one s own race is superior (Oxford). In the

The poem I chose was Women on the Beach by Anne Michaels. This poet uses
various images of three women to create the appearance of a sunset. The first line
Light chooses white sails , the bellies of gulls , uses a metaphor to demonstrate
how when the light of the sun shines onto the sails of a boat appears to be white.
Michaels compares these sails to a seagulls white belly. In the 4th stanza, Your three

Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) is defined as a mental disorder in which an
individual has a pervasive pattern of grandiosity . . . lack of empathy, [is] self

Although Narcissism has it own symptoms, it has similarities with other disorders
such as disregard of others, instability in relationships, tend to be emotional and

I ve been riding motorcycles for almost as long as I can remember. As a kid, I used
to compete in dirtbike races and motocross, and I have always felt the most
comfortable when riding. I used to drive a car for work, and I hated it. Sitting in
