In the article Body Ritual among the Nacirema the author uses magical and
humorous word choice, to make the reader jump to assumptions about the culture.
Miner mainly uses magical word choice. In the article, a primary focus is a shrine
in the home which holds a box that contains potions and charms. The keeper of
these objects in the box believes that they cannot live without them. He used the
magical words to describe the bathroom and the objects inside it, such as a
medicine cabinet that contains medication and such things. Well, he does explain

juvenile delinquency. On the Juvenile Justice Bulletin there was a study done by
Survey of Youth in Custody that came to the conclusion that more than 39 percent of
youth under the age of 18 were under the influence of drugs at the time of their

Theory and history I always thought never go together and when it was required for
me to take History 302 I was very confused why it was a theory class. At the start

to see the struggle between two parties and how that was rooted in many

As a child, Helen was often became frustrated that no one understood what she
wanted. As a result, she would become extremely violent. Her parents did not know
how to control her and they let her get away with anything.

Anne Sullivan began by teaching Helen finger spelling, starting with the word doll, to

My Worldview
My worldview is formed by my relationships, challenges and choices I have made,
environmental surroundings and my family influence, all which have impressed on
me my views of the world.
According to Merriam Webster s Learners Dictionary, the definition of Worldview is
The way someone thinks about the world . Although this simple phrase seems to the
point, it is so very vague. It can mean the scientific, spiritual, and cultural worldviews,

In that sense my worldview is very Christian. The Secular Humanist comes in when it
comes to the idea of organized religion. I dislike the pressure organized religion puts
on people to attend church and tithe to the Church to keep it alive . I merely see it
as someone playing the middle man to gain wealth by way of God. I speak to God
in my own way I thank him daily each time I walk outside and see the children I was
able to birth, healthy and happy, enjoying nature because He created it.
One of the most recent events that has helped change and evolve my worldview
was bringing children into the world. This was something I had always thought of
and unfortunately pregnancy was not easy for me. I lost many in the task of
birthing two, who were strong but had a hard road from the minute they were
born. Being Catholic denomination, we are not to use birth control or lesson the
fruits of my husband loins . The two children that lived and grew were all my body
could handle. The medications I had to take during pregnancy wasted me away
before my family s eyes. Another child could have killed me. Because of this, my
husband decided to have a vasectomy procedure to make sure that we didn t have
any more children so he wasn t left to raise them alone. The priest of our church
was not happy with this at all. He lectured us about this and made us feel like we

Skepticism In Shakespeare s Othello
The funny thing about Shakespeare is his ways of expressing the philosophical ideas
in his plays. The situation and the circumstances are created for these special
dialogues for revealing his moral values on relationship which was then scholarly and
helped the play with the criticism by the Elizabethan nobles and the educated society
who appreciated his works for its universal truth which gave the dramatics his
universal appeal,

THE SIMULATION MODEL
ON A QUEUING PROBLEM
GROUP 7 (TUESDAY 12 13)
STUDENT NUMBER: 1121234
INTRODUCTION
This report is a continuation of the group project which produced and analysed a
working simulation model of the queueing problems at University House Restaurant
using Simul8. From the conceptual modelling of the group project, the model
contents, which include the scope and the level of detail, and constraints, will remain
the same as well as the simplifications and assumptions. Likewise, the validation and
verification of the model are assumed to be reasonably accurate. However, some
factors from the original report will be subject to change according to different
scenarios during the experimentation.
From the observations of the restaurant and the interview with a full time employee, it
was evident that the queueing problem was typical, especially for Today s special
Hot food menu during the peak hours of Fridays between 12:00 14:00. This queueing
problem affected the total time taken to be fully served, taking up to 7.7 minutes,
which the problem was analysed in the group report.
OBJECTIVES OF THE EXPERIMENT
The setting of objectives for this report is to experiment with the simulated model by
making various scenarios, and attempting to find the most efficient ways to make any
improvements to achieve the objectives for the queueing problem at the University
House Restaurant.
