Los índices de la bolsa local culminaron la sesión en terreno mixto. El sólido avance del sector Industrial (+4.25%), liderada por las acciones de Graña y Montero (+12.89%) compensó el retroceso en las acciones de Consumo (-2.31%) y Minería (-1.1%). En la sesión se negoció un monto total de $ 6.98 MM distribuídas en 260 operaciones.

Asia
Las bolsas de Asia reducían pérdidas luego de que un yen depreciado ayudó al índice Nikkei japonés a cortar una racha de cuatro días de caídas, pero el volumen de negocios era débil pues muchos mercados estaban cerrados por la festividad del Año Nuevo Lunar.
Europa
Las bolsas europeas caían con fuerza el lunes y ampliaban los descensos de la semana anterior, ya que los sectores cíclicos perdían terreno ante las persistentes dudas sobre el ritmo del crecimiento económico mundial. Los sectores europeos bancario, de la industria automotriz, construcción y tecnología caían cerca de 3%.

El oro subía hasta máximos de tres meses y extendía su mayor avance semanal desde julio del 2013, pues el desplome en los mercados de acciones, la incertidumbre sobre el crecimiento global y la debilidad del dólar alentaban a inversores a buscar activos "refugio". El cobre cedía en una sesión con escasos negocios por el feriado en China, mientras que los del crudo cayeron una vez más.
