DVB-T2 Lite for Digital Radio by Kenneth WenzelYOZZO
At Thailand’s Engineering Expo 2014, Kenneth Wenzel from Open Channel in Denmark, shared the experiences gained, from being the world’s first to deploy and trial digital radio based on the new DVB-T2 profile T2-Base-Lite. The presentation proved the superiority and robustness of T2 Lite for digital radio, instead of DAB+
DVB is a set of standards that define digital broadcasting using existing satellite, cable, and terrestrial infrastructures.
The term digital television is sometimes used as a synonym for DVB
In areas where there are multiple original networks (Original Network IDs) as Copenhagen, where you can receive DTT signals from both Denmark (red) and Sweden (green), the DVB-T2 device (NorDig IRD) shall first sort/list all services from Denmark (Original Network ID = 0x20D0), before sorting/listing the next original network, here Sweden (Original Network ID = 0x22F1).
Within DVB’s SI code allocation (ETR162), there is normally an un-written code of practise for digital terrestrial networks that the original network id has been allocated by the DVB office to the value of 0x2000 plus the country’s ISO 3166 Country code value.
This is true for all countries, except three countries DTT network:
› Swedish DTT (0x22F1), Hungarian DTT (0x22C7) & Portugal DTT (0x22C8)

IBOC (In Band On Channel) Technology for DIgital Radio.Ashik Ask
The engineering world has been working on the development and evaluation of IBOC transmission for some time. The NRSC began evaluation proceedings of general DAB systems in 1995. After the proponents merged into one, Ibiquity was left in the running for potential adoption. In the fall of 2001,the NRSC issued a report on Ibiquity's FM IBOC. This comprehensive report runs 62 pages of engineering material plus 13 appendices. All of the system with its blend-to analog operation as signals levels changes. The application of the FM IBOC has been studied by the NRSC and appears to be understood and accepted by radio engineers. AM IBOC has recently been studied by an NRSC working group as prelude to its adoption for general broadcast use .Its was presented during the NAB convention in April. The FM report covers eight areas of vital performance concerns to the broadcaster and listener alike .If all of these concerns can be met as successfully by AM IBOC, and the receiver manufactures rally to develop and produce the necessary receiving equipment. The evaluated FM concerns were audio quality, service area, acquisition performance, durability, auxiliary data capacity, and behavior as signal degrades stereo separation and flexibility.
The FM report paid strong attention to the use of SCA services on FM IBOC. About half of all the operating FM stations employ one or more SCAs for reading for the blind or similar services. Before going to the description of FM IBOC system, it is important to discuss the basic principles of digital radio, and IBOCtechnology.
Suppose for a moment that we had arrived at this digital epoch, but had only just discovered wireless. Would we start by designing and building the wireless systems we now take for granted? I think not! The reality is; today’s wireless thinking is largely set by developments stretching back well over 100 years, and constrained by the limited physical models and mathematical ability of that time. Concepts such as LF, HF, VHF, UHF, SHF - Long, Medium and Short Waves - and dedicated channels are a result. So deep is all this that some actually think the ‘frequency domain’ is real as opposed to an abstract engineering convenience.
Every aspect of wireless communication we enjoy today stems from old analogue thinking and there is very little in this digital era that we could truly consider to be radically new. In truth, our digital radios are really analogue at their core, and so is the very way we think.
So a manifest for change might include:
No more bands or channels
No government regulation or control
The EM spectrum used as a continuum
Communication @ minimal energy
Operating below the thermal floor
Orthogonality through coding
Massive spread factors
Micro networking
Open Channel has applied for permission to conduct a 3-year DRM+ trial on the FM band in Copenhagen from April 2019.
DRM+ (Mode E) is a new digital radio broadcasting standard above 30 MHz up to 240 MHz.
DRM+ provides bitrates between 37.2 and 186.3 kbit/s depending on robustness level, using QPSK or 16QAM modulations and 100 kHz bandwidth.

Hybrid optimization of pumped hydro system and solar- Engr. Abdul-Azeez.pdffxintegritypublishin
Advancements in technology unveil a myriad of electrical and electronic breakthroughs geared towards efficiently harnessing limited resources to meet human energy demands. The optimization of hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems plays a pivotal role in utilizing natural resources effectively. This initiative not only benefits humanity but also fosters environmental sustainability. The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. Recommendations included conducting site-specific assessments, utilizing advanced modeling tools, implementing regular maintenance protocols, and enhancing communication among system components.

Final project report on grocery store management system..pdfKamal Acharya
In today’s fast-changing business environment, it’s extremely important to be able to respond to client needs in the most effective and timely manner. If your customers wish to see your business online and have instant access to your products or services.
Online Grocery Store is an e-commerce website, which retails various grocery products. This project allows viewing various products available enables registered users to purchase desired products instantly using Paytm, UPI payment processor (Instant Pay) and also can place order by using Cash on Delivery (Pay Later) option. This project provides an easy access to Administrators and Managers to view orders placed using Pay Later and Instant Pay options.
In order to develop an e-commerce website, a number of Technologies must be studied and understood. These include multi-tiered architecture, server and client-side scripting techniques, implementation technologies, programming language (such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and MySQL relational databases. This is a project with the objective to develop a basic website where a consumer is provided with a shopping cart website and also to know about the technologies used to develop such a website.
This document will discuss each of the underlying technologies to create and implement an e- commerce website.
