Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.

Da Sec William Dar Inaugurates Agri Projects of NSCC
1. DA Sec William Dar Inaugurates Agri Projects of NSCC
Agriculture Secretary William Dar graced the inauguration of various collaborative projects of
Nueva Segovia Consortium of Cooperatives (NSCC) and Department of Agriculture on
September 26, 2019 in Caoayan, Ilocos Sur.
NSCC launched its 24-point-five hectares lot known as the NSCC Agri-Tourism Farm Village
where it serves as a learning and farm tourism site. The village is also where collaborative
projects of the cooperative and DA are located which includes the five-hectare Research and
Development Center, farm mechanization project, and the organic waste converter.
During the program, Secretary Dar delivered his message and mentioned that aside from the
projects given to NSCC, said cooperative also got approval on the applied financial assistance of
200-Million Pesos for palay buying and this was coursed through the Development Bank of the
Philippines under the Buy-Anihan Program.
He also addressed his message to the farmers where he encouraged them to join associations
or cooperatives and strengthen their organization for opportunities to partner with other
networks or businesses to have economies of scale. In this way, he believes that "mas aangat
ang agrikultura at mas aasenso ang mga magsasaka".
A ceremonial turnover of projects was also conducted where Secretary Dar gave Certificates of
Award to NSCC, LGU of Natividad, Pangasinan, Movers Farmers MPC of Natividad, Pangasinan
and Danuman West Farmers Association of Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur.
2. Dr. Divina C. Quemi, CEO of NSCC expressed her gratitude to DA and promised that NSCC shall
continue to work as a catalyst of the government for countryside development.
Cooperative officials present during the inauguration also handed over resolutions of requests
for agriculture projects to Secretary Dar.
Other government officials also joined the inauguration like DA Regional Director Lucrecio
Alviar Jr., Ilocos Sur Governor Ryan Luis Singson, Congressman Deogracias Victor Savellano and
other local government leaders. Farmers, coop members and media persons also witnessed the
event (CDA Ilocos Sur).
