2. HOW YOU MEASURE FRACTION OF TIME FOR PARTICULER
VERY FAST REPEATATIVE ACTIVITY ?
• Photographic technique we can use for the study of path of
movement of an operator’s hands,fingers, etc.

3. WHAT IS IT ?
• It is developed by GILBRETHS in 1916.
• By using still photography with more time of shutter speed we get
motion path of worker’s moving body member.
• More than one camera can use in different plane to get more detail.

4. HOW CYCLE GRAPH ?
• Small electric bulb or LED attached to moving body member.
• The working area kept less illuminated while photograph taken
without flash of camera.
• In this bulb continuous illuminated.
• So resulting picture is cycle graph.
• We get only path of motion not get
DIRECTION,VELOCITY,ACCELERATION
• USE: 1)Improving motion pattern
2)Compare two motion for training purposes.

6. HOW CHRONOCYCLE GRAPH ?
• In that method POWER supply to bulb is interrupted at regular
interval of time by using ELECTRIC CIRCUIT.
• Generally 1-50 HZ
• Procedure for take photo is same as cycle graph.
• Resulting picture is chronocycle graph.

• Velocity=0.8168÷2
= 0.4084 m/s

• Time= 1.8 sec
• Velocity=0.8168÷1.8
= 0.4538m/s
