Job Description:
Compounding and Dispensing Prescriptions:
Compound and dispense prescriptions accurately. Fills and dispenses
prescriptions of tablets, galenicals and chemicals, carefully double check as to
correctness.
Packing medicines and other Pharmaceutical products:
Prepares folding boxes, Rx bottles, labels and other materials needed in the
section. Repacks tablets, galenicals, and chemicals at a sufficient quantity that
ensures fast service. Changes old labels of stock bottles. Returns all rejected
tablets and other repacked tablets in their proper shelves.
Price update:
Updates prices of drugs, galenical preparations and other pharmaceutical items in
the Rx section.
Patient Counseling:
Attend to the patient/customer, as well as the senior citizen patients and inform
them about the “generic equivalent and substitute” of the drug. It’s mechanism of
action to the body and it’s contraindication.
Ensures that prescription drugs are written down in the prescription book for
BFAD inspection.
Check the stocks w/ near expiry (expiry w/in 3-2 months) and remove the stocks
from the gondola and return it to warehouse.
Responsible and maintains proper stock availability at all times.
Checking of delivery from warehouse:
Do the manual checking of stocks from warehouse and report the discrepancy
immediately upon checking.
Do the daily/monthly sales report and inventory.
