Objectives of the post
Full utilisation of all possibilities for selling used automobiles.
Evaluation of the requests of interested parties / buyers according to their financial situation.
Correct and professional used automobile sales finalisation under consideration of all legal and contractual
provisions  helps to establish a positive vehicle dealership image.
Market-oriented acceptance of vehicles.
Use of specialised dealer qualities, e.g. specialised consulting, financing, leasing, warranty, follow-up service,
registration service, etc., to build trust.
Creation and development of an individual used automobile image. Stabilisation and continuous expansion of the
dealer-customer base.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Bavarian Auto Group BMW and Mini Cooper ( Senior sales Executive ) (Sep 2009 - Present)
Key Duties:
- Analysing the sales area and market potential.
- Updating the sales literature and promotional flyers.
- Coordinating interested party and customer appointments and delivery dates.
- Providing information about improvements and expansions to the vehicle programs to be offered and to
the vehicle presentation and providing recommendations to the sales manager.
- Planning and conducting acquisition activities in the case of select target groups in the particular market
area (e.g. used automobiles days).
- Creating & systematically administering customer and interested party files as well as entering
ascertained & current customer data (address generation via in-store contact, marketing measures, e.g.
events).
- Establishing and securing contacts with interested parties.
- Systematically developing recommendation potential (includes "customers recruiting customers" and
recommendations from colleagues).
- Professional customer/interested party approach and consulting:
• Via e-mail
• Via telephone
• Customer approach on company grounds
• At events
- Follow-up after initial contact
- Customer demand analysis:
• Collecting customer data
• Identifying price range
• Vehicle usage (business, family, animals, etc.)
• Desired model
• Product features and colour
• Information about current vehicle
• Financing
- Presenting the vehicle in a structured manner while creating a clear customer connection:
• Statement of benefits based on the reasons for purchase.
• Helping the customer to experience the vehicle with all five senses.
• Targeted vehicle selection based on customer and business interests.
- Explaining the advantages of the BMW Selection Program.
- Handling complaints.
- Price/conditions negotiation (including FS-offers and trade-in and under consideration of current sales
promotion measures).
- Offer follow-up.
- Organising the test drive with the desired vehicle.
• Initiating vehicle preparation (including license plate provision).
• Handing over the vehicle with clear operating instructions.
• Taking back the vehicle with evaluation of the test drive with the customer.
- Processing the used automobile evaluation:
• Initiating a technical evaluation
• Conducting commercial evaluation
• Establishing the acceptance price in coordination with the sales manager
- Contract preparation: Drafting the contract, defining the price / conditions under consideration of trade-
in.
- Finalising sales / obtaining order confirmation.
- Concluding insurance policies and used automobiles warranties.
- Clarifying delivery modalities.
- Accepting and initiating implementation of customer change requests.
- Organising and coordinating the date for used automobile take-back including evaluation.
- Delivery scheduling.
- Initiating preparation of the vehicle in the contractually stipulated delivery condition.
- Creating necessary vehicle and customer documents.
- Arranging delivery in a customer-oriented manner.
• Providing vehicle information.
• Information regarding the range of services of the vehicle dealership; service colleague introduction.
- Providing customer support in the case of complaints and warranty and goodwill cases.
- Maintaining and securing customer contact via telephone and written correspondence (including internet
contact and after delivery).
- Regularly checking the inventory and fair market prices and using these to derive recommendations for
the sales manager.
- Regularly checking pricing.
- Assuming responsibility for the cleanliness, flawlessness, and operational readiness of the vehicles.
