PERSONAL STATEMENT
Having worked in customer service for almost a year I have found I thrive in an environment
which involves working towards a target, interacting with clients and making them feel valued for
their custom. I enjoy working in a field in which I can showcase my business knowledge and customer
service skills. Before I became a deputy manager at William Hill, I began as a customer service
assistant, due to this I have experience working within a team to achieve targets, but also in my new
role, leading the team to the achievement of the objective. I obtain the needed support by outlining the
objective, giving each team member individual aims and time parameters to make the target
manageable and attainable; I find it’s important to keep your team informed of their current
performance and areas which can be improved. I also enjoy being critiqued on my performance so I
can constantly improvewithin my role.
Job satisfaction is highly important to me, after building a repertoire with my customers I was
able to adapt my approach to sales in a more specific way, this meant my shop regularly went above
and beyond with targets and mystery shopper scores (NPS). This resulted in a promotion within the
company and a chance to manage and support a storemoredirectly.
