10. 1. Choose the correct blade for the material being cut.
2.Secure the blade with the teeth pointing forward.
3.Keep the blade rigid and the frame properly aligned.
4.Cut using strong, steady strokes directed away from you.
5.Use the entire length of the blade in each cutting stroke.

8.Cut harder materials more slowly than soft materials.
9.Clamp thin, flat pieces that require edge cutting.

18. Chisels are used in conjunction with a steel headed hammer.
In many cases neither a hacksaw nor a shearing machine is
suitable for cutting a piece of heavy gauge metal. These are
made from high carbon steel bar, and forged to shape. Cutting
edge is hardened and tempered while the remainder is left and
tough. Chisel made of high carbon steel are sharpened one an
emery wheel; nickel alloy chisels by filing.
