Session Goals Inform all directors of current thinking and plans regarding certification and articulation agreements Get input on how to best implement portfolio assessment What other assessment considerations should NAF have in mind as it develops certificates? How can the network share student certification data? What should be done for academies that do not use NAF courses? What would be the approval process for alternative content? To what extent must certified CTE courses be year-long rather than one-semester? Certification Update Requirements for Awarding a NAF Certificate Minimum of four NAF courses completed May substitute up to two courses from approved third-party provider Successful completion of two assessments per course End of course exam Project evaluation Successful, validated completion of student internship 2008 Leadership Summit Partners in Creation
