asymmetry, contractual efп¬Ѓciency and managerial opportunism) drive the decision to adopt fair
value. Indeed, regarding contractual efп¬Ѓciency reasons in particular, we п¬Ѓnd that the larger the
size (proxy of political costs), the less likely fair value is to be chosen, while leverage and
consequent lenders protection seems to be insigniп¬Ѓcant for the choice.
Furthermore, our results show that market to book ratio (MTBV) (proxy of information
asymmetry) is negatively related to the fair value choice. This п¬Ѓnding, that conп¬‚icts with
existing literature, could be accounted for in the real estate industry due to the fact that high levels
of MTBV in this context reveal growth opportunities associated with a fair estimation of investment
properties and therefore with a low information asymmetry. Managerial opportunism behaviour,
measured by a dummy variable for earnings smoothing, seems to have an inп¬‚uence on fair value

Abstract
For this project, I will be conducting multiple experiments regarding the chirality of different forms
of ibuprofen. The question I m trying to solve is whether or not common brands of ibuprofen have
the same formulation. In order to perform this exercise, I will need to create a homemade
polarimeter in order to measure the angle at which the brands of ibuprofen will reflect light,
resulting in finding out if the chosen brands have a varied rotation of light. I believe that the
different brands will reflect at different angles based off of its chirality. After performing the tests,
the results I have gathered led me to believe that my hypothesis was proven to be wrong. The
Motrin, Advil, and Equate seemed to all get bright in the same areas. The only difference was that
the Motrin was the brightest one out of them all.

Although I find myself agreeing with many of the positions that Socrates holds in The Republic,

hallway to the classroom; the independent variable was the use of the TGG; and the measure was

With certain job it takes specialized education to excel in said jobs such as a engineer or
mechanic these jobs are rewarding in salary and knowledge. Considering the amount of jobs that
are available a high school diploma is required to be able to acquire even basic jobs such as fast
food and service. For this project I will be outlining 5 different jobs and the entitled education
worth. One of the first jobs I choose was a military job. MARSOC to be exact a special forces unit
exclusive to the United States marines.
MARSOC(Raider) a special forces unit that operates out of the United States Marine Corps.
Being the smallest of the military branches they focus more on quality than quantity. In order to
join you need to get a passing score of 31 on the ASVAB. Also a passing PFT score of 20 pullups
100 crunches in 1 minute and a 3 mile run in 18:00 minutes. Including the scores you also require at
minimum a high school diploma. To be qualified you do have to reach above the set standards of
the USMC and prove you are worthy to be part of the best of the best.
There isn t a very specific education field more as to be able to surpass the basic requirements
