1. VERTEX
 The Vertex is the most superior point of the skull in the median sagittal plane.
2. GLABELLA
 It is part of the forehead above the bridge of the nose between the eyebrows.
3. NASION
 It is the junction of the two nasal bones and the frontal bone.
4. OUTER CANTHUS
 It is the junction of the eyelid where the upper and lower eyelids meet laterally.
5. INNER CANTHUS
 It is a junction where the eyelids meet near the nose.
6. EXTERNAL OCCIPITAL
PROTUBERANCE (INION)
 The inion is the most prominent point of the occipital bone at the junction of the
head and neck.
7. ANGLE (GONION)
 The gonion refers to the angle of the mandible.
8. EXTERNAL
AUDITORY/ACOUSTIC
MEATUS (EAM)
It is opening of the external ear canal.
9. INTERPUPILLARY LINE
OR INTER-ORBITAL LINE
It is the line that connects the two pupils or
the outer canthi of the eyes.
10. ORBITOMEATAL LINE
(OML) RADIOGRAPHIC
BASELINE
It is located between the outer canthus of the eye
and the EAM of the ear.
11. INFRAORBITAL MARGIN
It is the lower margin of the eye socket.
12. INFRAORBITOMEATAL
LINE (IOML)
It is an imaginary line that connects the
infraorbital margin to the EAM.
