2. PurposePurpose
Once the old student(s) have cleared / passed
the course, you may need to enrol new
students to the course. You may want to retain
the assignments and other activities like wiki
or discussion forum etc.
To do this, you may change the enrolment
status of any (or all) student(s) from active to
suspended.

It will then take you to Course Administration page.

It will then take you the list of enrolled students in this course.

Scroll down to see the names of students. And click on Gear
icon in the right end against the name of a student.

8. Step 5: Edit EnrolmentStep 5: Edit Enrolment
For old students, click on
“Status” and change it
from Active to
Suspended.
Do this for all old students you don’t want them now to access
the course.
Click on SAVE CHANGES

will show you 31 students

The students still exist
in the database but
they will not able to
see the course content
and participate in
course activities or
assignments. For
teacher also, their
grades etc will be in
hidden form.
12. Step 7: Add new studentsStep 7: Add new students
• You can now add new students / batch /
cohort to your course.
• Database will still have old + new students.
• Old students will not have access to course.
• As a teacher, you will have access to all
previous content created by students as
assignments or discussion forum etc.
