Quizlet is designed to be a self-study tool and not an
assessment tool. Teachers play a huge role connecting
students with Quizlet and helping them to take control of
their own learning and use our tools to improve.
In order to help facilitate this process, we provide
information about how students are using Quizlet in the
"Class Progress" feature to Quizlet Teachers. This is
intended to inform a teacher's in-person or in-class
instruction by showing them where students are
struggling. But the results displayed are not meant to
provide data that would be used for an assessment or a
grade.
Because all terms and definitions are easily accessible to
students at all times, there is no way to prevent "cheating"
on any of our study modes, and therefore Quizlet should
not be used for any sort of assessment.
