Comments on YouTube helped identify issues with an ending sequence and provided advice to include more camera angles. The feedback was analyzed and applied to improve the project, such as shortening a drawn-out rewind scene. Overall, social media was useful for gathering feedback to enhance the final product.
The document outlines Dan Richardson's planning for a documentary exploring how mountain biking affects people's mental health. He discusses researching existing films to identify commonly used techniques and conventions to incorporate into his own film. Dan also considers potential interview subjects, locations, equipment needs, and restrictions or challenges for his project.
The document summarizes the creator's animated video about the harms of the meat and dairy industries. Some key points:
1) The creator aimed to make the animation educational but not depressing by using bright colors despite the serious topic.
2) Interviews with the creator's vegan mother were included to provide perspective from a vegan.
3) While similar documentaries include real footage, the creator chose animation to make it more child-friendly without graphic images.
4) Areas for improvement include adding more real interviews and footage for more personal connections rather than just animation.
The document discusses various marketing strategies the author is using to promote a fitness video and brand, including creating social media accounts, merchandise like t-shirts and water bottles, online forums, and an in-person screening event. The author analyzes the positives and negatives of different strategies. Designs are presented for merchandise like clothing and water bottles following research. Analysis of poster designs for the event and banners created for social media accounts show the consideration of themes, colors, fonts and blending modes. Feedback from sharing work in class is discussed as beneficial. Overall the strategies appear to be working well to increase views of the video and expand the brand's audience and popularity according to the author.
The document discusses the construction, research, planning, and evaluation stages of a documentary project. It describes researching similar documentaries online through sites like YouTube and Netflix. Planning included creating a PowerPoint, storyboard, script, and animatic. Filming involved location scouting and props. Evaluation was done through a PowerPoint presentation posted on a Blogger site, which analyzed audience feedback and changes made based on that feedback.
Edan Burrows created a weekly vlog documenting his activities which included scooter riding, photography, and attending a concert. LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like
Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems

Changes in vegetation cover refer to variations in the distribution, composition, and overall
structure of plant communities across different temporal and spatial scales. These changes can
occur natural.

2. Why this project
• I like and want to do this project because my biggest hobby and
interest is weightlifting so I’ll be more driven to make my whole
project on that. Weightlifting is a very important thing in my life and
something I'm very knowledgeable about the subject so I would love
to make that into a project.
3. Jay FMP introduction script
My project is an educational and hopefully entertaining documentary. I
will be showing my life as a student athlete from my dieting to my
training. I will show footage and talk about both my football and
bodybuilding sessions and why I take part in and am passionate about
both. I will go into depth about the science and benefits of
bodybuilding as well as dieting. I will take the audience on a
transformation journey with myself showing how working out and
tracking my calorie intake effects me over the course of a Two and a
half month period. I will also be able to acquire an interview with my
person trainer Harry Strike for added information on the subject. I will
also include more informal footage of myself talking to the audience
making the overall tone more personal.
5. Hamza
I saw this video and it inspired me as soon as I saw
it because I suddenly got ideas that I could do a
documentary on something on the lines of THIS IS:
weightlifting; like a running series of THIS IS but
weightlifting being the episode. He says a lot of
points I would love to include on my video. I could
research other motivational quotes which I could
include in my video.
6. Harry Strike
• Recently I have been training
with a coach who has
competed before and done
well, so I could do a body
transformation in my
documentary, and take it
through my journey. I've got an
opportunity to film something
that I love doing.
7. Sneako
I really like the editing style of Sneako and want to
push myself to the next level and do some really
nice edits. Specifically the drawing edit he does. I
think on my last documentary's I've had quality in
my structure and content but more visually
aesthetic edits will drastically improve my
content. Research on the drawing edit and other
stuff like that will be something I strive to do for
this project.
The rant style as well, even though all of it will be
scripted is an aspect I would like to take from
Sneako. I could make something on ‘Why you
should workout’.
8. Joe Fazer
Joe Fazer is an English weightlifting youtuber who does
lots of day in a life and there are a lot of aspects that he
puts in his videos that are like what I want to include in
my videos.
I was thinking about having a day in a life as the
background of my video, with bits where the audio will
come in and it will be the main part of the video. I will
use my voiceover to lead the video. Joe Fazer also
normally uses timelapses when he eats his food and that
is an edit I may include in my video and will require
research, because he also does edits when he's eating
the food which can drastically increase how watchable
someone preparing food is.
Joe Fazer is well known for his transformation videos and
that’s why for my video I could do a transformation, and
this could be the first episode of this, and the viewer will
be learning as well through the journey.
9. Golden diamond
This is something that inspired me as it really
hyped me up and the tone is something I want
my project to have. It also talks about a
subject that the world has gone soft, and
that’s something say if I was to do that subject
there are aspects I could take from this video.
On the other hand say if I was
doing a life as a student the music really hypes
me up and I may use it because it is a common
song used in the weightlifting community.
I will watch a lot of weightlifting type videos
and see what music they use and how that
effects tone and atmosphere. When finding a
so ng to use on my video I think it has to be
recognised in the community that it fits
‘weightlifting’ and It of course has to fit the
scene I’ve used it in.
10. Ronnie Coleman
Ronnie Coleman The King is a documentary on the life of Ronnie Coleman who was one of the best body builders ever. ‘Eight-time Mr.
Olympia champion Ronnie Coleman has underwent six surgeries after his pro career and he needs crutches to walk, but his dedication and motivation
for training isn't gone’. That was the description for the documentary and it says it all about who he is as a person, because even when he struggles to
walk now (from multiple injuries) he still continues to train to this day.
When I watched this documentary it really inspired me to do my project as even though the project wont be that similar to The King its still on the same
subject weightlifting. It has a tone that I would want to have in mine and that is how this documentary inspires the audience watching and to get a
similar level of that would be one of my main goals. He also inspires me outside of my project to do well in my own training and I think if I keep that up
it'll only improve the project the more as it will be more genuine. I could research about how to inspire your audience on Youtube.
He also has a book on the same subject called Yeah Buddy: My Incredible Story
‘Best known for winning the Mr. Olympia title eight times, and for lifting every heavy weight in existence (including an 800-pound squat for two easy
reps), Ronnie Coleman came from humble beginnings. Born in rural Louisiana to a single mother, Ronnie rose from poverty to achieve his lifelong goal
of becoming the best bodybuilder in history. In the process, he learned about life, victory, triumph, defeat, hard work, determination, discipline, glory and
adversity. In this book, Ronnie tells us the story his life, from his own perspective, all the way from childhood to the present. He covers, in great detail,
all aspects of his journey, from his eight Olympias and his quest to become a muscleman, to the difficult years working at a fast food restaurant, to his
love life, to the birth of his daughters, to the relationship with his mother, the rise of his supplement brand, to his back problems, and everything in
between. With insights from bodybuilding legends like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lee Haney, Jay Cutler, Phil Heath, Kevin Levrone, Flex Wheeler, and
many others, Ronnie holds nothing back and truly exposes his life in a way he was never done before. "Ronnie became a whole new dimension. It was
unbelievable. He showed bodybuilders that there was a whole other way of size and proportion. "Arnold Schwarzenegger, 7-time Mr. Olympia (1970-
1975, 1980), Hollywood superstar and former Governor of California. "The unbelievable story of the greatest bodybuilder the world has ever known."
Men's Health Magazine "In the world of professional Bodybuilding the name Ronnie Coleman stands alone. There has never been an athlete physically
able or willing to take the sport beyond the limits of human expectations. Ronnie, did it to the extent that the sport may never witness again. "Lee
Haney, 8-time Mr. Olympia (1984-1991)"Ronnie Coleman was my idol and someone I looked up to tremendously. Ronnie trained his ass off. He was a
very humble guy. I respected him so much. "Jay Cutler 4-time Mr. Olympia, (2006-2007, 2009-2010)’
That’s a bit of information about the book but essentially both book and documentary are on the life of Ronnie Coleman but the book
focuses less on him now whereas the documentary is more about his present struggles.
11. Jeff Nippard
Jeff Nippard is a content creator who heavily inspires
me through him using all the advice he gives on
lifting is scientifically backed and has tested studies
to bac his claims, so when I do my video when I say
something I want to give scientific evidence to back
my claim up. I will research these scientific articles
so I can use them in my video.
12. Format/Dylan Mcknight
• My idea for my project is a documentary but more personal and not
something you would see on amazon or Netflix; I want it to be more of a
YouTube thing as I want to explore more into making the video more
creative aesthetically. Not saying Netflix and amazon don’t have stuff like
that but I think YouTube is more accepting of that and its more of a place
for conceptual material. In conclusion I want my project to yes be a
documentary but I want to be more personal so I can rant or express
myself.
• Insanity is a documentary made by Dylan Mcknight on himself about the
transformation he did and a bit about his own character and what it
takes to do what he did. Its a lot of inspiration for my own project and
there's things I can learn from this documentary when doing research.
• Another documentary type video he did is his 2-year natural
transformation 18-20, its very dramatic but it hypes me up. There's a lot
of techniques specifically in that video that have piqued my interest that I
could research on how to do it.
13. Limitations
• A lot of my weaknesses are in my editing skills as I don’t know how to do much effects or visually
it hasn’t been that unbelievable in my previous work, so that may be a challenge. To improve this
weakness I will do research on different edits I can do that will make my video look better for
example the Super EASY scribble, scrawl, doodle effect is a video that I will use on my
project as I think it can add to the style of video I'm trying to achieve.
• My camera work is pretty basic so that is also something I would want to improve as it would
drastically improve my piece having good shots, it would also help with my aim to get the video to
look aesthetic. I may have to research how to improve my camera work on YouTube, I think
there's ways you can film when doing a montage so research on that before I film will help.
• A weakness I have is not being able to articulate my project and what I want to do, and that can
hinder my project as if I'm describing it, it can be difficult. On this project I'm hoping to articulate
my ideas more to get feedback and being confident that I can make mistakes or improve even if I
think its good.
14. Strengths
• My strengths are in how I structure my videos so that will be helpful
when I do my project as I think that it helps with the viewer to
understand and relate to my project more.
• I have quite an driven personality so as I'm doing my project on
something I love I will be really determined to do this project and
complete it to the best of my ability.
• I'm resilient as with my own self I train consistently every week on the
same days and I try and eat the same amount of calories.
15. Everything I’ve learned
• I’ve learned that short movies isn’t my thing, as my camera work is
pretty basic, so if this was the same year one me I would probably be
thinking about making a film. In Year 2 I've realised that I'm better
and prefer doing documentary style because I'm better at more real
stuff than creating a script and writing something non fictional. I've
learned things I like and don’t like; for example I like doing short
snappy cuts because I find it makes the video more interesting and
the opposite long clips I have found I'm not as keen on it, because it
drags. I’ve developed an editing style, learnt I like structure to my
video and I find doing something I'm interested on is the best way to
get work done as you find it important to you.
16. What have I produced
• I have produced two different documentary's prior to this current
project, so I'm comfortable with the structure and getting the tone of
a documentary, I still want to build on this however and improve from
what I've already done and make something different and more
aesthetic that’ll be refreshing for me. In my first year even if I didn’t
do documentary’s I gained significant editing skills that really helped
me be able to do anything now, since I had no knowledge of how to
use premiere pro before hand.
17. Hope for FMP
• My hopes for the FMP is a distinction, I believe I can do it; a merit is a
must but if I get a distinction ill be over the moon. I’ll need to get my
written work improved and also my project but I believe I can do it.
• I hope the effect that my project will have on my audience will be
positive and make them feel inspired and also I hope as I aim for my
product to be more aesthetically pleasing I hope they would
appreciate that.
• I want them wanting to go be active and for the documentary to have
a lasting impact on them, which they can benefit from.
18. Synopsis
• Life as a student athlete: I will talk about all about my food
preparation and my training. I’ll show what it takes and what its like.
Ill show me tracking calories and I will film my football matches and
my workouts and do a transformation. I could also sit down and do
more formal stuff like why I got into it. I want the video to be a kind of
why you should workout a kind of love letter to the sport.
• I will look to entertain, educate and motivate in my video.
19. Synopsis
• What is a man- / - manhood.
• Explore how masculinity is a social concept that in the past meant
one thing that society all agreed upon. However now with the rise of
work culture and freedom of expression there are multiple concepts
of what masculine is that men today are torn between, these create
predujudices and insecurities and confusion.
20. Synopsis
• Modernity is making you weak: I will talk about how modern society
is making you weak, I will refer to fat phobia culture and how schools
are reducing physical lessons out of the curriculum. I will talk about
how society glorifies obesity and mental illness.
21. Synopsis explanation
• Here in the contextual I have three different ideas. To decide which one I have wrote
them all down so I can idea generate from there. I could potentially combine a few ideas
with my Student Athlete being the focus of the documentary with some side themes of
the other two.
• Student athlete- this concept will pretty much document how my life is at the first
stages of my career with weightlifting and my football.
• Manhood- Quite like 'Modernity is making you weak' I will be into a more rant style
voiceover, I will talk about how it is now confusing for young males to what is
masculinity, and everyone has different views right and wrong, and I would discuss what I
think.
• Modernity is making you weak- I would talk about how modern day is making you lazy,
there's a lot I could talk about with this one as there are studies that over stimulation is
reducing testosterone, there's a lot of argument about how you should not workout as
its fatphobic and there's much more research I could do that could support this idea of
how the world has lost touch with its productivity and supports weakness and laziness. I
would basically just give my views on how this is destructive.
