This document presents a system for contactless temperature monitoring and face mask detection with an alert system. It uses machine learning models like CNNs and libraries like OpenCV, Keras and TensorFlow. The system detects face masks in images and videos in real-time using a MobileNetV2 model. It also measures temperature contactless using an Arduino, MLX90614 IR sensor and establishes normal body temperature ranges. When someone without a mask or with a high temperature is detected, the system provides alerts through sound, on-screen messages and email notifications. The system was created to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and could be useful in public places to ensure safety.
