This document discusses using iPads in clinical settings for patient education and care. It provides examples of how iPads can be used to look up information at the patient's bedside, display images and videos, and complete electronic forms and questionnaires. Barriers to iPad adoption like cost and technical issues are addressed. Results from a pilot study show promise for using iPads for these functions.
