- 2. CONFLICT Conflict is a normal part of any healthy relationship. After all, two people can’t always be expected to agree about everything all the time. Learning to deal with conflict is crucial to relational growth. Conflicts arise from differences. It occurs whenever people disagree about values, motivations, perceptions, ideas or desires.
- 3. CONFLICT Sometimes differences look trivial, however, when a conflict triggers strong feelings, a deep personal or relational need is at the core.
- 4. CONFLICT RESOLUTION Conflict Resolution is a way for two or more parties to find a peaceful solution to a disagreement among them. When a dispute arises, often the best course of action is negotiation to resolve the disagreement. In conflict resolution, the best solution is the solution that is best for both sides.
- 5. STEPS TO RESOLVE A CONFLICT Identify and Understand the conflict Communicate with the Opposition Seek a mediator, if necessary Brainstorm possible solutions Choose the best solution Explore alternatives
