As a part of the required activities for the course EGR9220 Teaching in Higher Education Practicum at
Villanova University, I have had the opportunity to teach a few sessions for CEE2105 for fall semester
2017, supervised by Dr. David Dinehart. On Wednesday November 1st, I recorded two lectures to be
posted on the blackboard and viewed by students prior to their in class session on the following Friday
and Monday. I received the PowerPoint slides for those recorded session from Dr. Dinehart, however,
added certain material to them with his consent. In particular, I added a nine step problem solving
procedure to be implemented during in class sessions, 37 and 38. The total duration of the recorded
sessions was about 26 minutes. The first recording was titled Centroids of the composite areas , and

On Friday November 3rd, I instructed two in class problem solving sessions from 8:30 AM to 9:20

created Afrika Korps. The unit deployed to Libya in order to support the Italian Army that had recently

My group presentation was over myasthenia gravis. Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a neuromuscular auto
immune disease that is characterized by fatigable weakness in the skeletal muscles. This occurs at the
neuromuscular junction, in which acetylcholine that is being released by the pre synaptic neuron
attaches to receptors at the post synaptic neuron in order to generate a muscle contraction. Basically
the body produces antibodies that block, alter, or destroy these receptors thus halting motor neurons
from signaling the muscles to contract. It is currently unknown why the body makes these antibodies.
There are a multitude of ways of treating MG these include anticholinesterase, steroid, and
immunosuppressant medicines. In my paper, I will focus on the most long term solution of
thymectomy by first giving an overview of characteristics of the surgery, then contrasting open
thymectomy (trans sternal and trans cervical) and video assisted thoracic surgery (VATS), and finally

Years have passed and now I have reached Junior High School. I should be happy because of my
smartness ; I was chosen to go to a special school for student enrichment. However, I am not happy
because the school my mother selected for me is far away from the neighbor, and the school district
where I lived had just built a brand new school within walking distance from my home; most of my
friends are attending there, and I could not understand why my mother chose to send me across town.

David Cusic s, The Iroquois Creation Story, was published at the height of tensions between the
Native Americans and the expansion of the United States into their territory, and illustrates how the
Iroquois creation beliefs are actually similar in some comparison to that of Christianity. The story is
about how The Iroquois Confederacy believed the world was created and their views of good and evil.
This writing by David Cusic was extremely significant at the time because it was now the only written
account of this orally told story on paper written by a native of the Iroquois. Now by saying that, there

Sagard, therefore his story did not have necessarily as much authentication and reliability behind it.
The Iroquois Confederacy, or in the native translation the people of the longhouse , was consisted of

1722 the Tuscarora (William 1). The author, David Cusic was born on an Oneida reservation, but he
was native to the Tuscarora. The confederacy was formed between 1570 and 1600 in order to be able
