treated poorly. Unfortunately, transgenderpeople are very misunderstood and are
often discriminated against. Transgender people are constantly being judged and

Based on my week, I spend the bulk of my time on school associated activities.
This was not a surprise to me, what I was surprised by was the small amounts of
time that I devote to my religion. Although I attend seminary, read my scriptures,
and pray everyday, the accumulative time of all on these activities adds to just over
an hour a day. I am quite aware of how I spend my time, it is very unusual for me to
lay around and waste time of useless tasks.

In this paper, I will be writing a final reflection on what makes a socially intelligent
leader. This will include a reflection on the article called, Social Intelligence and the
Biology of Leadership written by Daniel Goleman and Richard Boyatzis.
Additionally, I will identify my personal top ten leader attributes and describe them.
Lastly, I will discuss my plan for further self development to align myself better with
my leader attributes.
Goleman and Boyatzis write, ...certain things leaders do specifically, exhibit empathy
and become attuned to others moods literally affect both their own brain chemistry
and that of their followers (p. 76). This is a finding from research that shows how
individual minds combine together to work as a single system. This means that
people who are great leaders have the ability to act with a behavior that has an
influential force on brain interconnectedness. Furthermore, being a leader is more
about developing an interest in people that will nurture positive feelings in them.
This will lead them to provide better cooperation and support back to the leader

Generally speaking this course led me to contrast the Wesleyan doctrine with specific
questions raised by opposing theological viewpoints. The real world scenarios
presented in the weekly assignments provided valuable context to the application of
biblical interpretation to answer questions concerning details of the hope Jesushas
