Ehr Coding And Reimbursement Case Study Paper
EHR Coding and Reimbursement Case Study
One of the greatest milestones in the United States health system is the use of electronic health records
codes to ensure consistency in diagnosis and treatment procedures provided by physicians (Romano
Stafford 2011). The purpose of the case scenario of the sixteen year old female who visits the
emergency department is to show how electronic health record coding is done and its impact on health
reimbursement. The International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and the Current Procedural
Terminology (CPT) codes are brought out well in the case study showing how they help in ensuring
physician consistency in coding diagnosis and treatment procedures for the purpose of health
reimbursement.
The International ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To determine the CPT code for the above case scenario, the first step is to identify its category 1 which
in this case will be emergency department services which range from code 99281 99288. In this
category, the case scenario would also be assigned code 78000 79999 for nuclear medicine and code
76500 76999 for diagnostic radiology. The codes would be selected based on the chest x ray and
nuclear stress test done to the patient. Codes 99605 99607 would also be assigned based on the
medication given to the patient. In category II of CPT, the case scenario would be assigned code
0500F 0575F for patient management based on patient evaluation and prescription changing.
In most cases, identification errors lead to ICD and CPT coding that result in dull reimbursement. If
the services submitted to the electronic health record system are not written in the patients health
records, it could also lead to dull reimbursement. Failure to bill records before submission as well as
lack of accuracy and wrong use of codes also leads to dull reimbursement (Romano Stafford 2011).
For the claim to demonstrate medical necessity for the exam, the patient s electronic health records
submitted to the system must describe in details the procedure that the patient is to

In here, it is fundamental to see what is happening in the social part of the market in which the firm is
operating, or when it is a new business or a new project, the market in which it is desired to enter.
Moreover, there are such things like the cultural norms, expectations and behaviours, population, age,
etc (CIPD, 2010). Abercrombie and Fitch has always pronounce that one of the most important things
in its marketing is diversity. They try to include every type of people in their teams for example. In its
webpage (Abercrombie and Fitch, 2010) people can find this data:
In store workforce, as a whole is 50.22% people of colour
In store models are 48.44% people of colour
In store managers in training are 41.04% people of colour
Technological Factors
This is one of the clues to gain competitive advantage in any industry (Porter, 1998). According to
this, any change in technology that can have an impact in the way things are done, can be a significant
improvement. This will lead to better products and services (CIPD, 2010). Abercrombie and Fitch has

The Positive And Negative Effects of DNA Profiling
Justin Broyles Apr. 12, 1995 Justice Theory Lance Miller
Genetic engineering has developed and blossomed at a frightening rate in the last decade. Originating
as merely an area of interest for scientists, genetic engineering has now become an area of which all
people should be somewhat knowledgeable. DNA profiling has many uses, both positive and negative,
in our society.
Aside from its usefulness in many legal investigations, DNA profiling can be used in the workplace to
discriminate against employees whose profiles could pose a financial risk. For example, genetic
technology can and has been used to determine the capacity of a person to contract certain diseases,
such as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Supposedly, the use of numerical codes will allow huge databases to search for a match of a individual
DNA band. However, these matches are not 100 percent. This inconclusive correlation between DNA
patterns has led to a heated debate which has culminated in federal court with Daubert vs. Merrel Dow
Pharmaceuticals Inc. The ruling in the Daubert case said that the acceptance by the scientific
community is not enough by itself to allow certain scientific techniques into court as evidence,
especially given the reality that a suspects entire future could hang in the balance of a scientific
finding. Many people have argued that the use of a national DNA database infringes on the individuals
constitutional rights to privacy. However, law officials have claimed that the advantages this database
presents for society supercede the individual s rights. This dilemma can easily be associated to the
social contract presented by Thomas Hobbes. In this contract, Hobbes believed that each individual
should give up certain individual rights in order to achieve protection from the whole. The forfeit of
the right to privacy of one s
DNA can thus be considered one of these forfeited rights. A person must weigh the advantages of
having a past, present, or future criminal s DNA profile on database with the disadvantages of having
one s own. But the disadvantages will outweigh the advantages when private institutions develop

Symptoms And Treatment Of Psoriasis
The term comorbidity refers to the association of two distinct diseases in the same individual at a rate
higher than expected by chance (Bonavita and De Simone, 2008).
Although psoriasis has been previously thought to be a disease solely affecting primarily the skin and
the joints, our understanding of the comorbidities that may be associated with this disease has grown
significantly. Recent evidence has even suggested an increased over all risk of mortality in patients
with severe psoriasis (Gelfand JM et al., 2007).
The presence of comorbidities in dermatology is of interest for various reasons. A skin disease can be
an early marker of systemic disease, and therefore, identify patients who are at risk of having other,

A study by Cohen et al. (2008), supported previous reports of an association between psoriasis and
diabetes mellitus. The age adjusted proportion of diabetes was found to be significantly higher in
psoriasis patients as compared to the control group. A possible explanation for the association between
psoriasis and diabetes is the presence of chronic inflammation that occurs due to secretion of TNF a
and other proinflammatory cytokines such as IL 1 and IL 6, which precipitate both psoriasis and
diabetes.
2) Non Alcoholic Fat Liver Disease (NAFLD)
Prevalence of NAFLD in patients with psoriasis ran¬ges from 17 60% and is even greater in patients
with severe psoriasis and PsA ( Miele et al., 2009) .Similarly, Gisondi et al. speculated that NAFLD
may contribute to the seve rity of psoriasis through the release of inflammatory mediators from the
liver, including reactive oxygen species, CRP and IL 6, which also act as mediators of atherogenesis
(Gisondi et al., 2009),Moreover, patients with psoriasis and NAFLD have higher risk of developing
non alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and cirrhosis than patients with NAFLD without psoriasis
(Wenk et al., 2009). At least in part, progres¬sion of NAFLD to NASH is associated with an increa¬se
in the TNFa/adiponectin ratio. (Sanz Lp , 2007).
3) Depression and health related quality of life (HRQoL) A high percentage of psoriasis patients,

Marine Biology Admissions Essay
The quote by Benjamin Franklin, If passion drives you, let reason hold the reins relates to my life and
the factors that affected my college decision. Because I was fascinated about marine life and their
environment, I wanted to major in Marine Biology and make a career out of it. While Marine Biology
was my passion, after further researching all my options for college, I had to let reason play a role in
determining where I would go. Back in eighth grade, our family vacationed in the Cayman Islands. I
had my first opportunity to snorkel around the reefs; I saw eels, stingrays, colorful fish, and corral.
Swimming with dolphins only added to the experience. From this moment on, I knew I wanted to
study all these amazing sea creatures for a career. In researching colleges that seemed to fit me, I
decided on Marine Biology as my intended major. Also around the same time, I became interested in
Athletic Training. I began researching only schools that offered Marine Biology, which were mostly
private colleges outside of my home state of Georgia. I held off on applying to the University of
Georgia until right before the deadline due to the fact that they did not ... Show more content on

thinking about it, I realized that majoring in Marine Biology at an expensive college nowhere close to

Tennessee Williams A Streetcar Named Desire
Blanche s Fragile Psyche in A Streetcar Named Desire
Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire is to some extent living an unreal existence, according
to Jonathan Briggs, book critic for the Clay County Freepress. In Tennessee Williams play, A Streetcar
Named Desire, the readers are introduced to a character named Blanche DuBois. Blanche is Stella s
younger sister who has come to visit Stella and her husband Stanley in New Orleans. After their first
meeting Stanley develops a strong dislike for Blanche and for everything associated with her. Among
the things Stanley dislikes about Blanche are her spoiled girl manners and her indirect and quizzical
way of conversing. Stanley also believes that Blanche has conned him and ... Show more content on

Since that day, Blanche believed that Allan s suicide was really her fault. She became promiscuous,
seeking substitutes (especially young boys), for her dead husband, believing that she must have failed
him sexually. Gradually her reputation as a whore became widespread and everyone in her hometown
knew about her. Even for military personnel at the near by army base, Blanche s house became out of
bounds.
Promiscuity, though, wasn t the only problem she had. Many of her aged family members had died
and the funeral costs had to be covered by Blanche s modest teacher s salary. Some of the deaths were
slow and painful and wreaked havoc on Blanche. She was forced to mortgage the mansion, and soon
the bank repossessed it. At school, where Blanche taught English, she was dismissed because of an
incident involving a seventeen year old student who reminded her of her late husband. Even the
manager of the hotel where Blanche stayed during her final days in Laurel, asked her to leave because
of the plethora of different men that had been seen there in her company. All of this, cumulatively,
weakened Blanche, turned her into an alcoholic, and chipped away at her mental stability, bit by bit.
The death of Blanche s husband affected her greatly and helped determine her future behavior. Allan
had lit up her world. It was like you suddenly turned a blinding light on something that

The Life Of A Sheep Eater
The Life of a Sheep Eater
I woke suddenly as the cool morning air bit at my face, telling me it was nearly morning and another
day had begun. I am seventeen today which means that today will be the day I ask Alma s parents if
they ll allow us to have a courtship. That was the only thing on my mind when I heard my father
calling me, knowing we needed to eat before we left on a hunt.
Little Wolf, hurry and get out here, we need to get our supplies together before we leave! my father
shouted from outside our temporary wikiup. Hurriedly, I put on my sheep hide leggings and grabbed
my moccasins on the way out. After eating, we grabbed our bows and met with some other men from
the tribe to leave for the busy day ahead. Today s hunting plan was to take fifteen of our dogs with us
and have some men hide higher up in the mountain so that when the sheep were scared upward, they
could shoot and kill them. It was my turn to hide out higher up on the mountain with Walks Without
Sound and Horseless, two of the best bowmen in the tribe. My father and six other men were at the
bottom of the mountain to scare the sheep up to where we are hidden. I hear the dogs howling and
sheep stirring as the sound of my heart beats loudly in my ears. I feel the adrenaline rushing through
my body as a prepare to shoot the first sheep I see. As we hear them approaching swiftly, we stand
with our bows aimed. I release my arrow and hit the largest sheep in sight. The thud of the body

Malcolm Gladwell Outliers The Story Of Success Summary
In Outliers: The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell an interesting point is made, this point is if
you work hard and assert yourself, and use your mind and imagination, you can shape the world to
you desires (Gladwell 151).This is true in many of the stories told in the book Outliers: The Story of
Success by Malcolm Gladwell several famous people are talked about such as, The Beatles, Bill
Gates. But in this book several studies on education, parenting, and psychology are cited. We also
learn that there are many differences between what others may consider to be success, and what
Malcolm Gladwell considers success.
I would like to begin by discussing Bill Gates the founder of Microsoft. What opportunities allowed
him to build a company worth billions of dollars? How did he learn so much about how computers?
Did he have any advantages over other students at school? In the chapter The 10,000 Rule it is stated
that The idea that excellence at preforming a complex task requires a minimum level of practices
surfaces again and in studies of expertise. In fact, researchers have settled on what they believe is the
magic number for true success: ten thousand hours (Gladwell 39 40). It takes this long because It
seems that it takes the brain that long to assimilate all that it needs to achieve true mastery (Gladwell
40). So where did Bill Gates get his ten thousand hours of experience before building Microsoft. Well
the answer is Lakeside, a private that catered

The Wright Brothers Essay
The Wright Brothers The world was changed on December 17, 1903 when Orville Wright flew the
first airplane for a period of 12 seconds. Orville, born in 1871 and his brother Wilbur, born in 1867
grew up in Dayton Ohio with two other brothers, Reuchlin and Lorin and one sister Katherine. They
grew up in a loving family, which helped the brothers with the success in their future. Many people
are not aware that much of their knowledge that went into the makings of the airplane came from their
mother Susan and the bicycle repair shop they owned. Interestingly, Wilbur and Orville were not the
men who first thought of flying. In the 16th century, Leonardo de Vinci had thoughts of a flying

As for Orville, he did not enjoy or excel in school, as had his brother. He was an average student. He
was problematic, and his behavior caused him to drop out of high school in his junior year. He
developed aspirations to start a printing press firm. The brothers built their own press with cheap
parts, and used it to print their own newspaper as well as other printing jobs. Their attempt at the firm
was unsuccessful, so the boys bought a bicycle shop in 1893. This bike shop became a place where
much thinking and production towards aviation took place. The Wright Cycle shop opened in 1893.
They made bike repairing their own business. After three years of this business they made their own
bikes called Van Cleves and St. Clairs. They moved their store 6 times before they converted their
store into machinery shop for their manufacturing business. The men of aviation before the Wright
brothers had little but significant impact on the process of building the airplane. George Cayley lived
in the late 1700 s and early 1800 s. He was one of the first men to understand that to fly is not to
imitate the flapping wings of a bird but to use rigid wings. This was a very important idea that proved
to be true for the future. Europeans were at work to beat the Americans in building the first heavier
than air plane. Otto Lilienthal, a German engineer, experimented with hang gliders. His main focus

He had an Irish heritage, and was the son of a friendly local bus conductor (Schaffner, 19). George
was only sixteen when he joined the band, which was, at that time, The Quarrymen. He was allowed

This band had three guitarists, singers, and songwriters, but no bass or drums. After trying many

although he was a talented artist that John had met at school, he could hardly play his instrument

have bread . . . for you too . . . for you too . . . (Wiesel 101). This piece of evidence can show lack of
humanity because son is killing the father for the piece of bread, therefore valuing his survival over
that of his own father. The piece of bread is the symbol used in this evidence because it is what the son
was murdering his own father for. Furthermore, Elie dislikes the lack of humanity when soldiers throw
bread crumbs into the wagon to cause a stampede Dozens of starving men fought desperately over a
few crumbs. The worker watched the spectacle with great interest (Wiesel 100). This shows lack of
humanity because the soldiers throw food into the wagon as if they would feed pigs which could also
categorize as loss of identity. They are all alike there is no difference between the men in the wagon.
The symbol of bread represent lack of humanity because the bread pieces can be a tool for the soldiers
to play around with. Therefore, these evidences prove that people want to save their own life than

Introduction to Noise and Vibration Damping
INTRODUCTION TO NOISE AND VIBRATION DAMPING
Vibrations are undesirable for structures, due to the need for structural stability, position control,
durability, performance, and noise reduction. Vibrations are concern to large structures such as aircraft
and small structures such as electronics.
Reduction of Vibration can be attained by increasing damping capacity and increasing the stiffness.
The loss modulus is the product of these two quantities and thus can be considered a figure of merit
for the vibration reduction ability.
Structural damping can be achieved by passive or active methods. Passive methods use the inherent
ability of certain materials (it can be structural or non structural materials) to absorb the vibrational
energy (example, through mechanical deformation), which provides passive energy dissipation. An
active method uses sensors and actuators to attain vibration sensing and activation to suppress the
vibration in real time. The sensors and actuators are usually piezoelectric devices. This review is
focused on materials for passive damping, due to its relatively low cost and ease of implementation
Materials for vibration damping are mainly metals and polymers, due to their viscoelastic character.
Rubber is commonly used as a vibration damping material due to its viscoelasticity. Though,
viscoelasticity is not the only mechanism for damping. Defects such as dislocations, phase boundaries,
grain boundaries and various interfaces also contribute to damping,

How Does Delillo Present The Fear Of Death In White Noise
The fear of death is one of the most prominent themes in White Noise. Everything in the novel from
Hitler to the toxic airborne event circles back to how human beings are subconsciously afraid of
dying. DeLillo s novel displays how life attempts to push this fear away, almost saying out of sight,
out of mind . Yet, as we see in the characters of Jack and Babette, the fear continues to rear its ugly
head and fill them with terror. DeLillo shows this close relationship between life and death. He could
be trying to show how death lingers dangerously in the background of our lives. The toxic event
changed the way Jack Gladney feared death. Not only did it make his fear worse, but it made him
absolutely terrified of it. During the event, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This could be based on the fact that no matter who you are or what you do, death is inevitable. I
believe that Jack relates to a Hitler like persona because he relates to this idea of life credit . When
Jack is talking to Murray, Murray mentions that to kill another person is to gain life credit. The more
people you kill, the more credit you store up (DeLillo pg. 277). This is similar to Hitler, from my own
knowledge, I already know that Hitler thought the more people he killed the more power he would
gain and the more invincible he would feel. Jack seems to have the same mindset because he thinks
killing a man will give him more time. He is almost trying to cheat death and outlive the chemical
inside of him. I feel like Jack thinks that if he kills someone, he gains whatever years they had left. As
any rational person would know, this is just simply impossible, but Jack seems to believe this illusion
is his ticket to maximizing the time he has left. The common theme between these two passages is that
death is an inescapable process. I found it very interesting that the toxic event happened before Jack
shot Willie Mink. The toxic event only made it more clear to Jack that he is going to die because of his
chemical exposure, however it also hastened his dying process. This is why I find it so strange that
Jack tried to kill Mr. Mink. From my understanding, Jack was under the impression that killing
someone would extend his life, however he knows that he

Rappers Vs Griots
Many argue that the past griot s and the rappers of today in Africa, are as different as an apple and
orange. *You have those who believe the foundation of both practices are one hundred percent
different. Everything that makes a griot who they are, is completely the opposite of what shapes an
African rapper. *On contrast, there are also those who presume that the message and way of execution
are the same for both lyracis. *The belief that the two are different, mostly comes from those of older
age, or who have a lineage of griots that backtrack throughout the years. *While those who believe the
opposite, are of younger age and have more modern day experiences. So although socially, the African
griot and rapper are on two different platforms, the message and ways of expression are tantamount,
however, the fundamentals are contrasting. As time progressed and rappers begin to make appearances
in the 1990 s, griots were still in full effect. Just as the griots openly criticize politicians and protest
the conditions of community, rappers do the same. For example, if the issue was unemployment, it

So just as social issues and hymns are performed by the griot and the rapper, they are also done in the

audience. *For example, when singing about a particularly melancholy part of African history, a song
may be presented. This is also exercised by the rappers of Africa. However, sometimes just as a

Bill 2 Reflection
The two bills I chose were bill 2 and bill 5. These bills were a resolution to create a demilitarized zone
the South China Sea (bill 2) and a bill to create an Indian free trade agreement (bill 5). The speeches I
wrote were both positive and bill 2 was won by the Republicans, which is the group I was with. I also
believe bill 5 would have been won too, but that bill was never called upon. The South China Sea is
worth 5.3 trillion dollars. This is enough for China to threaten military action for claim over the wealth
(Fensom). How important is this body of water? The South China Sea is very valuable. Most of its
wealth is within trade, islands, and oil. Many global sea routes connect in the South China Sea, giving
it the nickname the throat ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I found myself agreeing with every bill that was voted on for the Republican side. However, there
were some bills I did not agree with. For example, bill 1 I would have had to vote no, against the
Republican party, because I do not agree with a bill to eliminate mandatory minimum sentences. The
bills that were brought up for discussion happened to work out to where I agree with, and voted on,
the Republican side.
The hardest part about Mock Congress was getting in front of the class and saying my speech. I am
not very good at speaking, making it hard to fluently give an entire speech in front of a crowd. The
easiest part about Mock Congress was probably listening and voting on other bills. The part I enjoyed
the most was listening and debating on the bills brought up in class. I enjoyed this because I found it
to be fun and interesting. The part I enjoyed least would definitely been giving my speech in front of
the class.
I do not really have any one person in mind for the best congressman/woman. If I had to choose, I
would pick Alex Hudson. I am choosing him because he was very active during the duration of Mock
Congress. He brought up several good points, along with asking good questions. Alex also seemed the
most prepared on him speech, being that he had all the facts he needed for his speech memorized and

Community Oriented Policing Pros And Cons
The chief of the Abington Police, Chief William (Bill) Kelly came to the campus on Thursday to talk
with the criminal justice class about policing. Chief Kelly has been serving for forty three years
between police forces in the states of Ohio and Pennsylvania and has been a police chief for thirty
three years. With his years of experience, Chief Kelly talked about primarily three main ideas:
Problem Solving, Community Oriented Policing and Abington s Approach to Policing.
Problem Solving policing is an officer s ability to assess and properly address any given situation. To
utilize problem solving successfully, it is necessary to use the three types of knowledge police officers
use when faced with a situation: Classical, Situational, and Procedural. Chief Kelly then proceeded to

Deviant Globalization Analysis
Deviant globalization exists and is very much intertwined with mainstream globalization. Gilman,
Goldhammer, and Weber explain that it violates the norms and beliefs of our society like human
rights, violence, etc. Illicit activities are not a new occurrence. Since, both systems are getting more
efficient, they help the formal economy to grow and also the deviant one. Balaam and Dillman point
out examples from the history, such as colonization and piracy. Furthermore, human trafficking is one
example of the illicit international economy. The Economist (2017) story Fear on the border talks
about two Vietnamese young women who were drugged and sold to Chinese men for marriage.

reasons why the global rich and global poor are participating in such activities. For example, global
rich is not participating in the illicit activities to increase their wealth. They are acquiring perhaps
replacement organ or drugs. However, the global poor engage in deviant globalization in order to gain
wealth, climb out of poverty, and sometimes this is the only way for the entire community to
experience economic growth. Further, Ambagtsheer describes the organ trade that due to the long wait
time for organs, some people turn to black markets. This article points out that the average wait time
for an organ can be three to five years, but not everybody is strong enough to survive that long. As
Ambagtsheer explains, black markets exist parallel with the legal market for organs. What makes them
illegal is that the organs are sold for profit, whereas, the World Health Organization has guidelines to
explain why the organ sale is not allowed and legal. The bottom line is that valuing each human life,
the organ sale is unethical and immoral. Also, the black markets might take advantage of the poor and
most vulnerable people. However, according to Ambagtsheer, organ trade differs from other illicit

The Elizabethan Poor Law was passed in 1601. This law enforced all church communities to annually

Data Collection Tool Used For Information About Individuals
A survey is a process of obtaining information or a general view, examination, or description of
something. It is a data collection tool used to gather information about individuals. It has a variety of
purposes and can actually be conducted in many ways. One of the ways is by printed questionnaire,
over the telephone, by mail, in person, by diskette, or on the web. However, the information is
collected through the use of standardized procedures. This is to ensure that every participant is asked
the same question in the same way (uniform). It entails asking the participants for information in a
structured format. Notably, the participants being surveyed may be representing themselves or their
organization depending on what is being asked. They may also focus on factual information about
individuals. Generally, surveys are standardized to ensure that they have reliability and validity. This
is very important so that the results can be generalized to the entire population. However, this paper
will discuss the following questions/concerns based on the survey questionnaire answered: my thought
on the length of each survey instrument, my thought on the open minded questions, whether I
preferred completing the surveys or open ended questions, which methodology I believe is most useful
in the examination of each variable/construct, and how this experience might influence my research

Missional Community Research Paper
The more leaders brainstorm about starting new churches through missional communities, the more
energizing the idea sounds. It s contagious. This post is about what happens when the dreaming stops
and the daring begins.
Missional communities are formed by Christians who want to bring Christ to their neighborhood. The
most common method is hosting neighbors one night a week to share a meal, study the Bible and
explore living life God s way.
Missional communities have between 10 to 40 participants. Once a missional community hits the
upper end in size, it can realistically become a launch them for a new church. However, there are a
number of hurdles to cross in starting a church from missional communities.
First Hurdle: Sending members to start missional communities.

The timeless axiom out of sight, out of mind readily applies to missional communities. Once the
excitement of launching missional communities subsides, the church s attention returns to the blur of
activities in its buildings. Meanwhile, the missional community quickly captures all the attention of its
leaders.
Crossing the hurdle of staying connected to missional communities requires planning and discipline,
which is challenging since missional communities are by nature organic. The sending church should
take the lead, ensuring staff or elders make regular and frequent contact with the missional
communities.
Hurdle Three: Transitioning missional communities into churches.
Members of traditional churches think missional communities sound a lot like a church: Christians
gather on a weekly basis to study the Bible and share a meal and pray. Members of missional
communities feel like their gatherings bear little or no resemblance to churches. The missional
community has no nonprofit status, no elected officers, no Voters

Bras Vs Breast Feeding
Bras during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Do you need a new bra during pregnancy? Yes. Like the rest of your body, your breasts will increase
too. Although it might be tempting to use the existing bras, it would be best to invest in some new
ones. The growing breasts are heavier and develop glandular tissues. Your breasts start producing milk
during the pregnancy and prepare for nursing your lil one. This adds a few pounds to the breasts which
deserve some comfort.
When to get a new bra?
When you take off your bra and see indentations along the straps, it s time to purchase some new bras.
The bras will start to feel too snug or your breasts would start to spill out from the bra cups. As every
pregnancy is different, everybody is different. Hence each woman s breast size increases differently.
The breast size increases during pregnancy and then might not increase until the last few months.
Hence, depending on your body growth, you might have to change bras accordingly. ... Show more

It is very uncomfortable to wear a bra at night. Although many women prefer not to wear one while
they sleep, some do wear a bra since they want to provide support to their growing breasts, even at
night. If you wish to wear a bra at night, choose a bra that is extremely soft and not too tight. A soft
cotton bra is the best option since it allows your skin to get sufficient air to breathe.

Essay on The Holy Trinity, by Masaccio
Masaccio s famous religious painting, The Holy Trinity , is known for the engagement of linear
perspective to create an image that goes beyond just paint on canvas, (or should I say wall?) by
creating the illusion of depth. This painting addresses many religious concepts by setting up different
levels and layers in the constructed space. The characters depicted are made up of four groups of
human figures, which include the Trinity (God the father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit), the Virgin Mary
and Saint John, a pair of donors, and a skeleton on a tomb at the bottom of the picture. There is an
apparent point of separation, which is made clear due to each group being on separate levels. Their
difference in power is fundamental feature in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The vanishing point of this piece is not arbitrary and it becomes evident that Masaccio s placement of
the vanishing point suggests his intention for the viewer to see the greatness of the divine in
comparison to the tiny specs of man s existence. Because the vanishing point is placed beneath the
cross, the spectator s vision is directed toward the center of the masonry altar, which indicates that
man must raise his head in order to pay respect to God, further signifying Gods importance in
comparison to man. The Trinity appears very out of reach from the perspectives viewpoint. Masaccio s
manipulation of perspective places the viewer furthest from the divine Trinity and closest to the
skeleton, which suggests that man s mortality is not to be seen as equal to God s divinity. This
demonstrates the hierarchical relationship in which man is constantly looks up to Christ for salvation
and piety in order to somehow overcome death and fear of it.
The manipulation of perspective was not only significant for symbolic meaning. It was used as a
visual tool in order to create the magic that the painting is known for. Because the vanishing point is
approximately 5 feet from the bottom of the picture, which is practically floor level, this allows for
both the top and bottom of the picture to come together and establishes an illusion of an actual
structure. While this created space within the picture appears to be real, it is actually just one of the

Miller et al (2007) showed greater knee flexion and internal hip rotation in runners with ITBS at heel

Biomechanical studies show that maximum compression of the ITB over the lateral femoral condyle
occurs at 30 degrees flexion of the knee (Orchard, 1996) hence it has been assumed that the band
actually moves over the condyle.
MRI findings in a study by Nishimura et al (1997) suggest soft tissue inflammation and /or oedema
rather than focal fluid collection. This study also showed no alteration to the structure of the ITB
itself, and that the posterior fibres are tighter against the femur. A further study involving cadavers and

n.d. 2011), tools such as, e mails mobile phone text messages, phone calls, internet chat rooms, instant
messaging and most importantly, social networking websites such as Myspace, and Facebook.
Researchers have made an effort on the outstanding reasons why social networking greatly causes
cyber bullying to teenagers (Hardcastle, M. 2012). To begin with, there are a lot of reasons why social
networking causes cyber bullying. According to Rebecca Sweeney (Online Conference on Networks
and Communities, 2011), social networking has been used as a stage for bullies to say things they
might not usually say to someone in person. This is because they do not have the feeling of fear
anymore since there is anonymity and no physical proximity on the victims. Bullies could just easily
influence or attack their victims. These attacks contain getting threatening messages; having their
private emails or text messages forwarded without permission; having a harassing picture posted
without permission; or having rumors about them spread online. Another, bullies can come in online

online bullying more reachable. Also, bullies have this feeling of certainty whenever they are online
due to the lack of unease already, allowing them to do what they want and it has a very wide public

Violence In Media
The Effects of Violence in the Media
Julianna V. Cronan
Alexander Early College
4th Block Honors English
Mrs. Bumgarner
Abstract
Many would say that violence in the media is the key problem in society today. However, an analysis
of violence in the media reveals that violence does create a more aggressive world, but that is not the
only plausible explanation. When violence is watched or participated in, the viewer s heart rate and
blood pressure increase and they have difficulty creating empathy for the others; they are more apt to
act out that anger. Others would argue that statistically violence has decreased in the world, and that
the violent behavior that is demonstrated by a few does not represent the whole of society. It is with
this reason that many say that there should be stricter ratings on video games and movies, and parents
should be better educated on ways to teach their children ways to deal with the violent content in a
healthy way.
The Effects of Violence in the Media
You are what you watch! An examination of violence in the media reveals that media violence does
create a more aggressive culture. Even though violent crime has decreased, violence in the media had
doubled or even tripled. This violent activities viewed by children and adults in video games increase
areas of the brain that control emotional arousal and decrease parts of the brain that deal with self
control and empathy. Studies show that children become more

How Did Clarence Henry Anthony Fight
Clarence Henry was a big name in boxing (he is a member of the World Boxing Hall of Fame elected
the year before he died and while boxing, he won various heavyweight titles). He was a heavyweight
fighter, who packed a heavy punch despite his light weight of 185 pounds (he was also six feet, one
inch tall). He fought in a total of 41 fights, six losses, one draw, nineteen knockout wins (34 total
wins). Some of the fighters Henry beat include: Jimmy Bivins, Willie Bean, Irish Bob Murphy, Albert
Thompson, Charlie Doc Williams, and Rusty Payne. Frank Blinky Palermo, a gangster, ran the biggest
numbers racket (a lottery scam) Philly has ever seen, and associate of the Philadelphia crime family,
owned Henry s contract and acted as his manager when Henry was ranked third in the world. He is
best known for fixing fights and owning big boxers, as being connected to organized crime. One of the
biggest fights that he fixed was the Jake LaMotta Billy Fox fight in 1947. Besides Fox and Henry, he
also owned Ike Williams, Virgil Atkins, Coley Wallace, and Johnny Saxton. He was partnered with a
soldier in the Lucchese Family named Frankie Carbo, a man who had been with Murder, Inc as a
gunman. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The fighters he controlled would take a dive (or win) right on cue and they would get a huge payoff,
making everyone happy. Unless you fought for Palermo that is, he would cheat his fighter s out of

Motor Neuron Disease
Motor neuron disease This week I chose an article about motor neuron disease because this disease is
not a common disease. However, it can severely affect the well being of our bodies. A motor neuron
disease is the deterioration of motor neurons. This disease can be occasional or hereditary; it can affect
two types of motors, the Upper motor neurons the Lower motor neurons located in our brain.
Moreover, the signs and the symptoms of a motor neuron disease depend on the kind of motor neuron
disease a person has. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is one of the most contracted types of neurons
disease. Furthermore, there are three types of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis including Sporadic,
Familial, and Western Pacific. Among these three types

  • 2. Ehr Coding And Reimbursement Case Study Paper EHR Coding and Reimbursement Case Study One of the greatest milestones in the United States health system is the use of electronic health records codes to ensure consistency in diagnosis and treatment procedures provided by physicians (Romano Stafford 2011). The purpose of the case scenario of the sixteen year old female who visits the emergency department is to show how electronic health record coding is done and its impact on health reimbursement. The International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes are brought out well in the case study showing how they help in ensuring physician consistency in coding diagnosis and treatment procedures for the purpose of health reimbursement. The International ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... To determine the CPT code for the above case scenario, the first step is to identify its category 1 which in this case will be emergency department services which range from code 99281 99288. The Positive And Negative Effects of DNA Profiling Justin Broyles Apr. 12, 1995 Justice Theory Lance Miller Genetic engineering has developed and blossomed at a frightening rate in the last decade. Originating as merely an area of interest for scientists, genetic engineering has now become an area of which all people should be somewhat knowledgeable. DNA profiling has many uses, both positive and negative, in our society. Aside from its usefulness in many legal investigations, DNA profiling can be used in the workplace to discriminate against employees whose profiles could pose a financial risk. For example, genetic technology can and has been used to determine the capacity of a person to contract certain diseases, such as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Supposedly, the use of numerical codes will allow huge databases to search for a match of a individual DNA band. However, these matches are not 100 percent. This inconclusive correlation between DNA patterns has led to a heated debate which has culminated in federal court with Daubert vs. Merrel Dow Pharmaceuticals Inc. The ruling in the Daubert case said that the acceptance by the scientific community is not enough by itself to allow certain scientific techniques into court as evidence, especially given the reality that a suspects entire future could hang in the balance of a scientific finding. Many people have argued that the use of a national DNA database infringes on the individuals constitutional rights to privacy. However, law officials have claimed that the advantages this database presents for society supercede the individual s rights. This dilemma can easily be associated to the social contract presented by Thomas Hobbes. In this contract, Hobbes believed that each individual should give up certain individual rights in order to achieve protection from the whole. The forfeit of the right to privacy of one s DNA can thus be considered one of these forfeited rights. A person must weigh the advantages of having a past, present, or future criminal s DNA profile on database with the disadvantages of having one s own. But the disadvantages will outweigh the advantages when private institutions develop ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 22. Introduction to Noise and Vibration Damping INTRODUCTION TO NOISE AND VIBRATION DAMPING Vibrations are undesirable for structures, due to the need for structural stability, position control, durability, performance, and noise reduction. Vibrations are concern to large structures such as aircraft and small structures such as electronics. Reduction of Vibration can be attained by increasing damping capacity and increasing the stiffness. The loss modulus is the product of these two quantities and thus can be considered a figure of merit for the vibration reduction ability. Structural damping can be achieved by passive or active methods. Passive methods use the inherent ability of certain materials (it can be structural or non structural materials) to absorb the vibrational energy (example, through mechanical deformation), which provides passive energy dissipation. An active method uses sensors and actuators to attain vibration sensing and activation to suppress the vibration in real time. The sensors and actuators are usually piezoelectric devices. This review is focused on materials for passive damping, due to its relatively low cost and ease of implementation Materials for vibration damping are mainly metals and polymers, due to their viscoelastic character. Rubber is commonly used as a vibration damping material due to its viscoelasticity. Though, viscoelasticity is not the only mechanism for damping. Defects such as dislocations, phase boundaries, grain boundaries and various interfaces also contribute to damping, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This is similar to Hitler, from my own knowledge, I already know that Hitler thought the more people he killed the more power he would gain and the more invincible he would feel. Jack seems to have the same mindset because he thinks killing a man will give him more time. He is almost trying to cheat death and outlive the chemical inside of him. I feel like Jack thinks that if he kills someone, he gains whatever years they had left. As any rational person would know, this is just simply impossible, but Jack seems to believe this illusion is his ticket to maximizing the time he has left. The common theme between these two passages is that death is an inescapable process. I found it very interesting that the toxic event happened before Jack shot Willie Mink. The toxic event only made it more clear to Jack that he is going to die because of his chemical exposure, however it also hastened his dying process. This is why I find it so strange that Jack tried to kill Mr. Mink. From my understanding, Jack was under the impression that killing someone would extend his life, however he knows that he ... The characters depicted are made up of four groups of human figures, which include the Trinity (God the father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit), the Virgin Mary and Saint John, a pair of donors, and a skeleton on a tomb at the bottom of the picture. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The vanishing point of this piece is not arbitrary and it becomes evident that Masaccio s placement of the vanishing point suggests his intention for the viewer to see the greatness of the divine in comparison to the tiny specs of man s existence. Because the vanishing point is placed beneath the cross, the spectator s vision is directed toward the center of the masonry altar, which indicates that man must raise his head in order to pay respect to God, further signifying Gods importance in comparison to man. The Trinity appears very out of reach from the perspectives viewpoint. Masaccio s manipulation of perspective places the viewer furthest from the divine Trinity and closest to the skeleton, which suggests that man s mortality is not to be seen as equal to God s divinity. This demonstrates the hierarchical relationship in which man is constantly looks up to Christ for salvation and piety in order to somehow overcome death and fear of it. The manipulation of perspective was not only significant for symbolic meaning. It was used as a visual tool in order to create the magic that the painting is known for. Because the vanishing point is approximately 5 feet from the bottom of the picture, which is practically floor level, this allows for both the top and bottom of the picture to come together and establishes an illusion of an actual structure. While this created space within the picture appears to be real, it is actually just one of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Cronan Alexander Early College 4th Block Honors English Mrs. Bumgarner Abstract Many would say that violence in the media is the key problem in society today. However, an analysis of violence in the media reveals that violence does create a more aggressive world, but that is not the only plausible explanation. When violence is watched or participated in, the viewer s heart rate and blood pressure increase and they have difficulty creating empathy for the others; they are more apt to act out that anger. Others would argue that statistically violence has decreased in the world, and that the violent behavior that is demonstrated by a few does not represent the whole of society. It is with this reason that many say that there should be stricter ratings on video games and movies, and parents should be better educated on ways to teach their children ways to deal with the violent content in a healthy way. The Effects of Violence in the Media You are what you watch! An examination of violence in the media reveals that media violence does create a more aggressive culture.
