P1: Historical Discussion Discuss the historical representations of youth: • Emphasise negative stereotypes since the construction of youth (post 1950’s) • Refer to three examples over the decades with use of the key words ‘subculture’ and ‘stereotypes’ • Keep your discussion simple and straightforward
  • 5. P1: Historical Discussion PASTE IN YOUR HISTORICAL DISCUSSION
  • 6. P2: Case Study 1 With reference to the essay question discuss your case study applying theory to specific examples. • Overview of case study • Introduce theorist • Apply theory to example/s from the text • Introduce second theorist • Apply to example/s from the text Improve your Mark • Does your case study link to any relevant examples in other areas of the media?
  • 7. P2: Case Study 1 PASTE IN YOUR PARAGRAPH 2 (Case Study 1)
