1. Sourced & negotiated products at lower prices such as canned vegetables, non-food, oils for the
foodservice industry.
2. Led a special beverage project, frozen cocktail mixes, to be distributed to hotels & restaurants island-wide.
3. Led & executed the national promotion, ‘Chase Di Taste of Grace Island Tour’ to build brand equity
(2009).
4. Devised, led & implemented a channel marketing strategy for the island-wide promotion, ‘Grace Island
Tour’ (2012).
5. Created the initiative, planned and executed a Grace Coconut Fair – ‘Grace Going Coconuts’.
6. Developed and executed a Brand Ambassador programme at UWI & UTech.
7. Moved the foam & plastic business from one to eight containers per month in one year.
8. Developed the standard operating procedures for trade development.
9. Organized and conducted a workshop on ‘Promoter Quality Improvement’; developed a manual and
designed a vest for the uniform that was adopted for use to this day.
10. Launched two of the most innovative products from Grace [Instant Cup & Quick Cook Porridges; the
Hominy flavour won the Best New Food Item Award at the Observer Food Awards in 2009].
11. Redesigned & re-launched the packaging for the Grace branded pasta range of products.
