I think that he was definitely the most religious ones out of all the characters in the
book. He relied on God for the actions that happened in his life and what was
happening in the way. This is why I was very drawn to him in the first place. I am

His grandmother was a skilled pianist, and his mother and uncle enjoyed listening
to big band music. Also, his absent father was a pianist who played in several dance

artist. At the age of thirteen, he enrolled in the art branch of Holyfield Road
School. Then at the age of sixteen, he was accepted into the Kingston College of

At the outbreak of the Korean War, no Marine unit of any size was based or
deployed in the Far East. The Corps supporting establishment was so small and its
tasks for maintaining Marine Corps bases so extensive that many FMF troops spent
more time housekeeping than training. The Marine Corps share of the federal
budget was simply not enough to buy adequate manpower, training, or new
equipment. The main threat to the nation was seen in inflation and unbalanced
budgets rather than in the Soviet armed forces. On the eve of the Korean War, the
FMF seemed doomed to fall to six battalion landing teams and twelve squadrons in

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to collect data that can be used to assess the current
status of a lake in terms of stratification, productivity, succession, nutrient
composition, transparency, and management. The field site was 85 acre, man made
lake within Miami Whitewater Forest in Great Parks of Hamilton County, Cincinnati,
OH. Although the lake is man made, it shares many characteristics with that of natural
lakes. The data collected regarding the current status of the lake would then be
compared against past, historical data to draw on any similarities or differences

Water was collected using a Wan Dorn Bottle (Lab Manual). There were
approximately 20 students that collected samples from the deepest part of the
lake, and 20 students that collected samples from the shallowest part of the lake.
The shallower portion of the lake was closest to a golf course and floating
