I was born in Inglewood, CA, the son of two immigrant parents. Growing up, I
always knew the importance of education; it was ingrained in me by my mother
and father. They grew up in Mexico where they both loved school until their
economic hardships forced them to come to the U.S. and work. I am the first
person in my family to go to college and will be the first to pursue a graduate

by Ayn Rand. She uses perfectly sculpted language to drive the actions in this story.
Similar to George Orwell s novel 1984, Rand uses her language and literary devices
to depict a dystopian society. Her techniques create a philosophical novel intended to
question ourselves and our society today. Rand uses the literary device, allegory to
create the society described, which moves the direction of the story to a climactic
dГ©nouement, and uses the theme of individuality to express a message to her
readers.
The most significant literary device Rand uses is an allegory. She uses the character s
lifestyle to construct a dystopian society. Coincidentally, this society resembles
collectivism. Here, the character s work for each other, towards a greater good. The
mirroring of collectivism is revealed in the first paragraph of Anthem,
We must never speak of the times before the Great Rebirth, else we are sentenced to
three years in the Palace of Corrective Detention. It is only the Old Ones who whisper
about it in the evenings, in the Home of the Useless. They whisper many strange
things, of the towers which rose to the sky, in those Unmentionable Times, and of the
wagons which moved without horses, and of the lights which burned without flame.

What are symbols and why are they viewed differently by individuals. For example,
a marriage between to people that love each other is represented by the vows said by
each, the rings placed on the finger, and the commitment honored before God.
In the play Othello , Desdemona and Othello married, they desired to share their life
together, and even consummated the marriage through sex, but their views of love
differ. Let me explain the opposition of how the audience may view the handkerchief
as Symbols and also how the symbols have different meaning between the characters
in the play. What did the handkerchief mean to both Othello and Desdemona. Was the
handkerchief a symbol of Christianity or paganism of magic. How did the
handkerchief effect the moral nature of others as it passes between characters.
Othello gave Desdemona a handkerchief as a first gift, the handkerchief to be
represented as a token of his love and belief that he was loved by his wife. Kiss and
talk meaning Desdemona did cherishes the gift from her husband. But why did
Othello believe that it took a symbol such as the handkerchief to prove love. I
believed
Desdemona loved her husband and truly honored their married with all her heart,
The heavens forbid. But that out loves and comforts should increase even as our
days do grow (II. i. 188 190). As well as i feel that Othello loved his wife and was
able to express through verbal expressions. Othello says to his wife, Amen to that,

Hazardous waste is production by several factories, but a petroleum and chemical
factories are most famous factories which hazardous waste production. According to
United States Environment Protection Agency (USEPA), there are broad categories
of hazardous waste. They are: Listed hazardous waste and Characteristic hazardous
waste(USEPA, 2005).
Listed waste, can be further classified into(USEPA, 2005):
1.F list: Waste comes from nonspecific sources, as spent dissolvent, and electroplate
wastes, dioxins, the petroleum and hydrocarbons.
2.K list: Waste from specific sources, such as pesticide, explosive makings,
