Responsibilities
 Perform surveys on a varied property portfolio, Housing, Commercial and Education
 Dilapidations, costing, demolition's and Condition surveying
 Private House Adaptions - Major and Custom works above £5k
 Enforcement - pricing and managing jobs for the Planning Enforcement team were
there has been a breach of planning regulations
 Project Management of Multi-trade jobs, using both external and internal resources
 Signing off on jobs up to 60k, preparing tender documents for jobs up to £1 million
 Completing and controlling all paper work involved with planning applications, e.g.
building warrants, planning approval, conservation area consent and listed building
status
 Managing ongoing contracts, weekly and monthly progress meetings with customer

 Incorporation of a new Database to actively monitor job requests coming through
from Corporate Property
 New File management system were each job has its own file which is passed
through to each department/ contractor until the job is completed
 New Surveyors process that can be clearly followed

 Conflict Management Training - Maybo 3 day course, used mainly with the
enforcement jobs as people became abusive when told they had to comply
 SMSTS Training - 5 Day Course, Used when managing projects on-site
 Asbestos Awareness - 1 Day Course
 Asbestos Safety - 3 Day Course
 Frontier Financial Systems - 5 Day Course (Managing and Cost Control) - used for
monitoring cost during larger projects that require multiple staged payments

 Support the Distribution Manager and deputise in his absence to ensure services
were maintained
